**Job Purpose** As a Lead Business Analyst supporting the ICE Clearing Technology team, you will be responsible for defining the functionality of ICE's post-trade and risk product and service offerings, principally in the futures and options markets. Serving as the primary liaison between stakeholders and a software-development team, you will lead and coordinate the translation of business needs into system requirements for large-scale development projects. This exciting role requires transforming complex business problems into precise implementable system requirements and owning the process front-to-back.
**Responsibilities**
+ Work with business users across multiple business units to formulate reconciled requirements, workflows, and use case analysis for new enhancement requests
+ Organize and run requirements gathering sessions, reviews and issue resolution involving multiple stakeholders and time zones.
+ Reconcile conflicting requirements with stakeholders
+ Recognize and communicate the impact new systems and features have on existing systems
+ Develop analysis artifacts including use-cases, activity diagrams, user-interface schematics, business rules, technical specifications, process flows, and API documentation
+ Adhere to change-control procedures to ensure requirements changes are agreed to by the release team and stakeholders

**Knowledge and Experience**
+ Bachelor's degree or comparable experience is required, preferably in Economics, Finance, Mathematics or Computer Science
+ 7+ years' software product development, business analysis, quality assurance, or related experience
+ Strong business-writing and excellent communication skills required
+ Competence in data analysis, and Microsoft Office tools (particularly SQL, Word and Excel)
+ Highly detail-oriented, with keen organizational skills
+ Ability to multitask and work independently, in a fast-paced environment and within deadline
+ Commitment to customer service and on-time product delivery
Preferred

• Lead the scoping, design and implementation of data pipelines and data models to enable performant and scalable products.
• Work with multiple sources of data, storage systems, and building processes and pipelines to provide cohesive datasets for analysis and modeling.
• Ensure a high-quality code base by writing and reviewing performant & scalable, well-tested code.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and design solutions that align with business objectives.
• Oversee data governance and quality, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with industry standards.
• Mentor software engineers & data engineers, establishing data best practices and creating up-skilling opportunities for the team.
• Ensure that software and system design and delivery support the goal of zero down time in production.
• Ensure development supports all appropriate data compliance and usage requirements, including PCI, GLBA, Safe Harbor, SOX, etc.
All About You:
• Deep knowledge of software development processes including agile processes, test driven development and automation of the build and deployment processes (CI/CD)
• Experience with software development or application engineering with recent coding experience in two or more of the following languages: Python, Java, Scala, Pyspark, or other.
• Strong understanding of data with experience in ETL, event streaming, data ingestion, modelling, Big Data (Hadoop/Spark), data visualization & analytics,
• Experience with AWS cloud services for data engineering and ML workflows.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks or Snowflake.
• Familiarity with industry best practices for collection and use of data.
• Strong technologist eager to learn new technologies and frameworks.
• Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills, with ability to represent team at public events such as technology conferences.
