The pay rate for this position is $21.97 per hour. **What You'll Do** + Operate forklifts safely in compliance with all Interfor, OSHA, and MOPED safety standards and guidelines. + Move inventory and materials across company facilities, stacking and organizing large bulk items efficiently. + Work collaboratively with team members to load and unload materials safely. + Update inventory activity, logs, lists, and records accurately. + Identify damaged materials or replacements needed and report appropriately. + Address and clean up any spills or safety hazards before leaving the shift. + Perform daily pre-shift forklift inspections to ensure equipment is safe and operational. + Clean forklifts regularly using a pressure washer and assist with preventive maintenance tasks, including tire changes. + Follow all safety policies, job safety analyses, and standard operating procedures to prevent injuries and avoid damage to mill property. + Must be able to safely climb on top of railcars and be comfortable working in elevated areas. + Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or mill management. + Be available for occasional weekend work as required. + Physical Requirements: Walking, standing, sitting, climbing stairs, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs. **What You Offer** + High School Diploma/Equivalent preferred. + Forklift certification or the ability to obtain certification through a standard training course. + Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with team members and supervisors. + Ability to respond quickly and appropriately in emergency situations, following established procedures. **What We Offer** + Group Benefit Programs (Employee Medical, Dental, Vision Plans + Short Term Disability Insurance + Life and AD&D Insurance + Additional (Employee Paid) Life Insurance + HSA Medical Plan + 401(k) Matching Plan + Paid Time Off (PTO) & Paid Holidays + Employee Assistance Program + Training & Development Opportunities + Instant access to your wages ahead of payday **Who We Are** Interfor is one of the largest forest products companies in the world and we're growing in exciting directions.
