Position Overview
C&S is seeking Project Designer / Architect with strong design, technical and creative skills to provide architectural design and project management services. The ideal candidate will have 5 to 10 years of professional experience, licensure preferred but not required, professional degree in architecture from an accredited program.
In this role, you will work independently on architectural design projects and often coordinate project design efforts. In addition, you direct planning and creative-design concepts for projects, prepare presentation and design drawings and details.
Key responsibilities include:
Design & Technical Execution
Lead and coordinate architectural design solutions from concept through construction.
Provide professional consultation in planning, design, and coordination for complex architectural projects.
Apply advanced design knowledge to develop creative, functional, and sustainable solutions.
Practice Management
Collaborate with a team of design professionals to win and successfully execute projects.
Demonstrate strong ethics, teamwork, and client relationship management.
Project Management
Deliver projects that meet contractual obligations, schedule, and financial goals.
Ensure project quality and client satisfaction throughout all phases.
Programming & Analysis (Pre-Design)
Research and evaluate client requirements, building codes, zoning regulations, and site data.
Develop recommendations on project feasibility under the guidance of a licensed Architect.
Project Planning & Design (Schematic Design)
Layout building designs, review codes and regulations, and coordinate schematics with consultants.
Communicate design concepts clearly to clients and stakeholders.
Work closely with an Architect during this phase.
Project Development & Documentation
Prepare and coordinate detailed construction documents for permitting and bidding.
Produce comprehensive drawings and specifications, including:
Site, floor, and roof plans
Reflected ceiling plans
Elevations, sections, and details
Door, window, and finish schedules
Building envelope and material systems selections
Construction Administration & Evaluation
Participate in on-site construction administration, including meetings with clients, contractors, and building officials.
Support punch lists, RFIs, and project closeout activities under the supervision of an Architect.
Skills/Education/Experience
5-10 years of substantial experience developing architectural details and providing planning and design support during design development.
Experience gained through full-time employment under the supervision of a licensed Architect or Interior Designer.
Professional degree in Architecture from an accredited program (Associate's, Bachelor of Architecture, or Master of Architecture).
Architectural licensure preferred.
Estimated Compensation Range and Benefits
$90,000 - $110,000/year*

The Interior Designer I assists in researching, investigating and applying interior design standards for new construction, remodeled and tenant improvement projects. What You Will Do
We are looking for aspiring Electrical Engineers to support the following areas:
Component Engineers ensuring cost effective and robust parts are used to ensure successful products, by selecting, specifying, and determining application adherence for electrical components.
ECAD Engineers solving the PCB board layout puzzle from R&D through full production level designs.
Product Development Engineers taking the electronic database representation of the design and turning it into tangible reality. PDE's steward the creation of the PCBs and resulting CCAs. PDE's interface with PCB and CCA manufacturers resolving any technical issues that arise in the manufacturing process.
Individuals will interface with multiple internal stakeholders and external suppliers to develop:
Component risk and verification data packages that will support component selections and provide justification to program customers. Component Engineers will identify parts to be included on the preferred parts list, drive usage of these standardized parts, provide recommendations to mitigate obsolescence issues, and identify solutions to meet customer component requirements.
The ECAD designer is responsible for creating and documenting the characteristics of a Printed Circuit Board (PCB) design from conception to manufacturing. This process includes library part creation, schematic capture, component placement, routing, gerber / ODB++ file creation, and all documentation using the Mentor Graphics and BluePrint toolsets. In addition, the ECAD designer will be responsible for interfacing with the electrical, mechanical, and producibility engineering disciplines to ensure that the overall design requirements are captured and accomplished.
PDE responsibilities include supporting the Digital, RF and Power Products (DRP) Team design community as the affordability, manufacturability, and producibility for all Missile Programs. Tasks include involvement in digital, analog, and RF design projects from initial bill-of-material selection through Printed Circuit Board (PCB) manufacturing, Circuit Card Assembly (CCA), and subsystem assembly including resolution on all technical and supplier related issues. Throughout the product lifecycle the Product Development Engineer (PDE) follows our Integrated Product Development System to create an affordable, producible, and highly reliable design that meets the program's delivery and milestones needs.
Team members will be exposed to all phases of the circuit card lifecycle from development through production and will present their findings through program design reviews.
Qualifications You Must Have
Must be pursuing a Bachelor's (or higher) degree in Electrical Engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) degree.
This position is for an intern who is enrolled in a Bachelor's (or higher) degree program and will be at minimum, entering their Sophomore, Junior, Senior or Post Grad year by the start of summer 2026.
Experience in one or more of the following areas: circuit design, circuit analysis, digital electronics, analog circuits, power design, RF design or printed circuit board design.

At Industrial Design, the Architectural Designer IV will:
Work closely with designer, Engineers, Architects and technical vendors to develop design deliverables such as What-ifs (conceptual designs), Positioning Reports, Programming Reports, Construction Documents and specifications. Deliverables can include AutoCAD drawings, Revit drawings, PDFs, PowerPoint presentations and Excel documents.
Make preliminary code-based assessments of design conditions and coordinate with our Architect to ensure design is compliant with building codes
Coordinate architectural models and drawings with the other design disciplines
Field validate / As-build existing conditions and integrate findings into the Architectural design background drawings
Review Submittals and respond to RFIs.
Participate in design review meetings with your design lead and key stakeholders
Interface with other disciplines to drive open design issues to closer
Perform drafting duties in support of his/her design scopes.
Publish documents (CAD to PDFs) & manage the document / file structure throughout the design process
The ideal candidate will have:
