Lead development of designs and sketches into Revit-based construction documents
Ability to produce a complete set of construction documents in BIM.
Ability to mentor a project team to produce a complete set of design and construction documents.
Ability to redline documents for production using BlueBeam or other similar software.
Responsible for communication with other disciplines, sub-consultants, vendors and contractors to ensure incorporation of information in project documents.
Ability to review and contribute needed information to a specification writer.
Ability to create organized Exhibits in BlueBeam or PowerPoint for client and team review.
Ability to direct & perform (if required) site and field work including site observations and investigations, existing facility inventory and generate field measured documentation.
Provide Sr. Architects / Project Managers with status reports of progress on architectural interior documents.
Ability to complete assignments efficiently, accurately and in a timely manner and self-perform quality control on work prior to publication.
Communicate regularly with the team and stay within the hours budgeted for tasks assigned.

What will you contribute?

Coordinate with project managers and engineers to ensure all design information is reflected accurately in the BIM model.
Project Documentation:
Generate and maintain accurate as-built documentation and 2D drawings from BIM models.
Prepare BIM models for fabrication, including detailed mechanical system layouts (ductwork, piping, etc.).
Ensure that all models meet company and industry standards for quality, accuracy, and timeliness.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with project managers, superintendents, foremen, and clients to ensure all mechanical system designs are properly implemented.
Work closely with the sales and project development team to provide preliminary project details and layouts for use in presenting proposed solutions to the clients.
Communicate effectively with team members to address and resolve technical issues, design conflicts, and project milestones.
Attend coordination meetings with project teams to facilitate integration between disciplines when necessary.
Software Proficiency and Technical Support:
Utilize and maintain proficiency in BIM-related software such as Revit, AutoCAD MEP, Navisworks, and other relevant platforms.
Continuously seek to improve efficiency and productivity in BIM processes and workflows.
Compliance and Standards:
Ensure that BIM models adhere to relevant codes, standards, and best practices in mechanical contracting.
Implement and maintain company-specific BIM standards and protocols across all projects.

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in BIM coordination within the mechanical or construction industry.
Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD MEP, Navisworks, and other relevant BIM software.
Strong understanding of mechanical systems, including HVAC, piping, and ductwork.
Knowledge of mechanical construction processes and project lifecycle.
Experience with clash detection, coordination, and resolution techniques.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
BIM certifications (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional in Revit or similar).
Familiarity with fabrication and detailing processes for mechanical systems.
Experience with cloud-based collaboration platforms (e.g., BIM 360).
