The Revit Designer applies design principles, analytical techniques, and three-dimensional computer-aided design software skills for the design and/or development of product concepts, components, or assemblies. The Product Designer will be responsible for creation of three-dimensional models of component designs and assemblies and two-dimensional drawings of components and assemblies, as well as creation of various studies and documentation of activities related to the creation and development of components and assemblies.
* Creation of 2-D drawings and 3-D component / assembly design data using CAD software.
* Execute data management procedures as directed by the company to properly track files and revision levels of drawings and components.
* Understand the customer's requirements for performance, materials, and manufacturing methods. Create designs based on these requirements.
* Communicate/coordinate activities between program management, engineering, customer representatives and corporate representatives.

About the Role
As an MEP Designer Intern at Z Modular (a division of Zekelman Industries), you will contribute to the design and engineering of modular construction projects that are reshaping the way communities are built. Provide calculations for design specifications as needed.
Research building codes and standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Support multiple projects at various stages, ensuring quality in all deliverables.
Participate in weekly design meetings to discuss progress and requirements.
Join team members for on-site project observations, including travel to other Z Modular locations.
