Primary Role
The Designer is responsible for creating and managing complex 3D models and 2D drawings. They collaborate with internal teams to design, refine, quote, and produce complete drawing packages.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze project requirements, review drawings and plans to ensure quality and feasibility.
Interpret design data and convert it into assembly and installation documents.
Support continual improvement initiatives by complying with the Quality Policy, procedures, and QMS objectives.
Provide technical support during project execution, including clarifying details and issuing new or revised drawings to support manufacturing, assembly, and installation.
Create drawings based on specifications from the sales team and client information sheets.
Ensure all drawings meet client specifications accurately.
Prepare quote, production, and fabrication drawings per project requirements.
Perform peer design reviews.
Create color renderings as specified.
Populate and upload project bills of materials to the ERP system.
Provide part drawings and/or parts lists to the Project Manager promptly to support project schedules.
Participate in product development and design meetings.
Create drawings for standard millwork parts.

Qualifications
2 years of experience with Inventor and AutoCAD/CAM software.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

Partners with Field Visual Merchandiser and provides feedback relevant on store, merchandising, In-store displays, product and inventory best practices.
Conduct weekly store tours with Store Manager and ASM Apparel focused on visual priorities for the week/month. Participates in conference calls with Field Visual Merchandiser on visual priorities and initiatives.
Evaluates and understands store KPIs to make commercial decisions and recommendations based on sound financial judgment in order to drive sales, margin and turns.
Engage in behaviors that are in line with Company's customer service standards, thus providing all athletes with an outstanding store experience.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Associate's Degree in Business Management, Retail Management, or Visual Merchandising
1-3 years experience in Visual Merchandising (preferably in softlines)

Participate in the selection of furniture systems and specifications
Provide project team coordination for finish plans, specifications, and material selections required for construction
Work with consultants, developers, furniture dealers, product reps, and fabricators to meet overall project objectives
Assist in managing client expectations, team communication, and consultant coordination
Contribute to office activities, initiatives, and learning programs
Participate in business development and marketing efforts
Assures design conforms to a contractual agreement with the client
Establish and maintain ongoing, productive client relationships
Your Qualifications
8+ years of experience as an interior designer
Bachelor's degree in Interior Design from an accredited program
NCIDQ/RID required
Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, 3D, Rhino, Grasshopper, and other modeling software programs
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
Strong knowledge of the design process, knowledge of furniture, finishes, materials, color selections, and specifications. Experience with construction document preparation
Graphics and visualization skills to effectively communicate design ideas
Strong leadership, organization, communication, and relationship management skills
