Mueller Sports Medicine (MSM) looks for candidates that are academically strong with a passion for their field of study. MSM provides opportunities for internships in marketing, innovation, purchasing, logistics, information technology (IT), finance and accounting, or customer service. An intern can expect to virtually and/or in-person meet with associates, vendors, customers to explore future career opportunities. POSITION FUNCTIONS* Percentage Position Functions 90% Innovation Complete an assigned project requiring planning, research, prototyping, evaluation, presentation of findings and recommendations to Executive team. Collaborate with industrial design, engineering, insights, marketing, purchasing and external vendors to successfully complete project. Help with activities surrounding the physical product deliverable during the ideation and explore phases of product development. Partner with engineering to complete CAD work to detail the design based on internal and external input. Present monthly status updates as part of our stage gate process. 10 % Administrative Perform administrative duties such as creation of design of experiments and consumer research, record keeping and documentation. Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Completed one year of post-high school education and enrolled for the fall semester at a technical college or four-year university. Pursuing a degree in a field of study related to the area of the internship. Have a grade point average sufficient to be considered in good academic standing. Ability to understand and comply with Mueller Safety Systems and current regulatory requirements. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: While performing the duties of this job, the team member is required to have ordinary ambulatory skills; ability to stand or sit, bend or stoop, and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light weights of up to 20 pounds. Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate office equipment and read.
