Responsibilities
Technical Expertise
Interpret flow diagrams, design packs, and conceptual designs to prepare engineering drawings.
Modify and update drawings to suit client, engineer, and internal team requirements.
Manage drawing integration and interface with multi-discipline design teams.
Apply working knowledge of Autodesk software (including 3D) and VAULT workflows.
Adhere to drawing office standards and procedures.
Maintain awareness of safety in design and applicable design codes and standards.
Operational Management

Create and develop planning and design concepts; and support more senior planners and architects on large projects.

Mentor and train junior staff.

An ideal candidate has:
A bachelor's degree in Architecture or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years of professional experience.
LEED AP preferred. Must be eligible to take the Architectural Registration Examination within a few years.
Working knowledge of engineering systems and the ability to successfully engage with professionals in a multi-disciplinary environment.
On-the-job experience using Revit to produce construction documents.
High proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.

PRIMARY FUNCTION
