The Role
We are seeking a Senior Project Manager with an InteriorDesign background to lead complex, design-forward residential projects from concept through installation. This role is ideal for an experienced designer or design-adjacent professional who loves being close to the work-bridging the gap between creative vision and real-world execution.
You will serve as the central point of coordination between clients, designers, architects, builders, and our internal teams, ensuring that every detail is thoughtfully managed and flawlessly delivered. In addition to managing projects, this role includes mentoring and supporting junior project managers.
What You'll Do
Lead multiple high-end custom cabinetry and millwork projects from kickoff to closeout
Act as the primary liaison for interiordesigners, architects, clients, and general contractors
Translate design intent into clear, executable plans while protecting the original vision
Develop and manage detailed project schedules, budgets, and scopes
Collaborate closely with internal design, engineering, production, and installation teams
Review shop drawings, specifications, and contracts for accuracy, aesthetics, and constructability
Manage change orders, RFIs, and cost tracking with a detail-oriented approach
Facilitate clear handoffs and project meetings across teams
Proactively identify challenges and resolve issues before they impact timeline or quality
Ensure all deliverables meet Arbor & Ore's high standards for craftsmanship, fit, and finish
Help refine internal project management processes and mentor junior PMs

Work Schedule:
This is a 40 hour per week internship that is expected to last approximately 4 months. Normal office hours are between 8:00am-5:00pm, Monday through Friday.
The offices are located in either Riverton, UT or Lehi, UT. Remote or hybrid options are available.

Solid business presentation skills (articulates technical concepts clearly - visually and verbally)
Technology background is desired.

Creative problem-solving skills, thinking conceptually and crafting elegant solutions
Knowledge of User Interface/Interaction, design principles and iconography
Knowledge of technologies such as HTML, CSS, Javascript, Ajax, XML, mobile, Responsive Design Techniques
Knowledge in user experience methods, design principles, problem-framing skills
Knowledge of branding, marketing or content strategy experience
Experience with mockups and wireframes
Project management experience is desired.

Helpful to have taken the following courses: CS 471, User Interface Evaluation and Design, OR CS 371-Human-Computer Interaction OR both, as well as ART 337- User Experience Design or equivalent
