Requirements
Qualifications and Certification:
Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts in InteriorDesign from a 4 - year CIDA accredited interiordesign program.
Have a minimum of 6 years of experience in commercial interiors.
NCIDQ Certification or currently working toward certification.
Other certifications such as Well AP and LEED AP certifications are not required but are a plus.
Skills and Abilities:
Advanced proficiency in Revit, Sketch Up and Adobe Creative Suite, Enscape, and experience with AutoCAD.
Have strong written and verbal communication skills - excellent presentation and people skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively.

Are you passionate about creating beautiful, functional outdoor spaces that bring people together? Do you have an eye for design and a knack for turning ideas into reality? We're looking for an experienced and creative Outdoor Living Designer to join our team!
In this role, you'll design custom outdoor environments that may include patios, outdoor kitchens, fire features, pools, pergolas, hardscaping, and landscaping-transforming blank backyards into dream spaces.
What You'll Do:
Meet with clients to understand their vision, lifestyle, and budget
Conduct site visits and measurements to assess project feasibility
Develop design concepts and present detailed 2D plans and 3D renderings
Select materials, finishes, and outdoor features that align with the design
Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and crews to ensure designs are brought to life
Stay current on trends, materials, and sustainability practices in outdoor living
Manage multiple projects and timelines with attention to detail and client satisfaction
What We're Looking For:
2+ years of experience in outdoor living, landscape, or architectural design
Proficiency in design tools like SketchUp, AutoCAD, Dynascape, or similar
A strong portfolio showcasing outdoor living or landscape design work
Great communication and presentation skills
Passion for outdoor spaces and a strong design sensibility
Degree in Landscape Architecture, Design, or related field is a plus (but not required)
Team Player
Bonus Points If You Have:
Knowledge of regional plant selection and horticulture
Familiarity with building codes and permitting processes
Experience with construction practices and outdoor materials
Sales or client consultation experience
