Essential Functions
Managing inventory levels and ordering new stock when necessary

Leading and supervising a team of warehouse staff
Maintaining accurate records of all transactions, including inventory levels, shipments, and returns
Conducting regular audits to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements
Implementing best practices for warehouse management and continually looking for ways to improve processes and efficiency.
Perform and submit quarterly physical inventories.

Role Description

Key Responsibilities
Inbound Logistics & Transportation
Plan, coordinate, and oversee all international shipments from factories to the U.S. warehouse.
Select carriers, negotiate shipping rates, and monitor freight performance.
Coordinate pick-ups, delivery schedules, and customs clearance with carriers, suppliers, and customs brokers.
Track shipment to ensure timely delivery and address delay or disruptions proactively
Supplier & Factory Communication
Maintain regular communication with international factories to confirm shipment schedules, packing requirements, and documentation.
Provide warehouse and internal teams with accurate packing lists, shipment updates, and expected arrival dates.

Customs & compliance

Process Improvement & Reporting
Identify opportunities to optimize import logistics processes and reduce costs.

Collaboration
Work cross-functionally with Production, Finance, Sales, and Operations teams to ensure alignment and smooth workflow.

Manages one or more equipment trade labor specialties within their assigned operations.

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee the operations of our 1,000,000+ sq ft manufacturing and logistics facility supporting modular data center infrastructure design and production. This position is responsible for all warehouse functions including inventory control, material handling, shipping and receiving, and workforce management. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, organization, and process optimization skills to ensure materials flow efficiently to support large-scale modular manufacturing and on-time project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, inventory management, and order fulfillment.
Develop and implement warehouse procedures that ensure safety, accuracy, and efficiency throughout all operations.
Oversee material flow between the warehouse, production floor, and logistics teams to maintain seamless coordination.
Utilize ERP and warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory, optimize storage, and support real-time reporting.
Lead, train, and supervise warehouse staff, ensuring adherence to company policies, safety standards, and quality expectations.
Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics for equipment, raw materials, and finished modular components.
Establish performance metrics for warehouse efficiency, order accuracy, and inventory turns, driving continuous improvement.
Collaborate with procurement, production, and project management teams to align material availability with project schedules.
Maintain facility organization, ensuring compliance with OSHA, environmental, and company safety policies.
Support budgeting, capital planning, and cost-control initiatives for warehouse operations.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
15+ years of experience in warehouse or logistics management within a large-scale manufacturing or modular construction environment.
Strong knowledge of ERP/WMS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms).
Proven ability to manage large teams in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
Excellent organizational, analytical, and leadership skills.
Strong understanding of inventory control principles, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement practices.
Familiarity with OSHA and other applicable safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities
As a vital role charged with the management of both people and processes, the Warehouse Manager will be responsible for all phases of the warehousing operations. The selected individual will manage a team of employees who are performing a wide variety of shipping/receiving and inventory management activities. This person will be responsible for the assurance of adequate staffing, the setting of daily priorities, maintaining of service levels, management of project schedules, and the delivery of continuous training and support.

Lead a team of warehouse associates and other personnel as needed
Provide support, direction, and organization to Warehouse, Customer Service, and Showroom Counter Sales staff in order to efficiently process customer orders and manage the shipping and receiving process accurately, safely, and on-time
Work closely with sales and marketing, procurement, planning, and customer service departments to ensure on time product shipment as per customer expectations
Responsible for setting department budgets, ensuring timely and accurate reporting, and following up on warehousing issues
Establish and execute strategies to improve basic tools, methods, and processes to ensure efficiency throughout the departments
Ensure an effective flow of communication with all personnel involved
Monitor warehouse performance by reviewing daily, weekly, and monthly key performance indicators and metrics (on-time shipping, fill rate, backorders, etc.)
Ensure inventory management activities are performed as per procedure and policies (cycle count, inventory variance reporting, slotting, replenishment, consolidation, etc.)
Hold responsibility for the overall hiring, training, and supervising of warehouse staff

Prior experience in warehouse leadership/management
Bachelors or Associates degree in Operations Management or related field is ideal but not required

Qualifications/Skills/Educational Requirements:

Proficient computer skills

Qualifications
Proven experience managing warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain management, preferably within construction, logistics, or a related industry.
Exceptional organizational and leadership abilities, with a tech-driven approach to inventory tracking and management.
Demonstrated success in managing, coaching, and developing high-performing teams.
Strong understanding of warehouse laydown operations and industry best practices for material handling.
Skilled in coordinating material flow and managing deliveries to ensure efficient site operations.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and collaboration.
Ability to work independently, solve problems, and take initiative in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Physical capacity to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and work in varying weather conditions.
Flexibility to work a 40-hour week with potential overtime as needed.
Education
High school diploma or G.E.D. required; Trade school or electrical experience preferred.
Preferred: Degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
Certifications
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
OSHA 30 certification preferred (must be obtained within the first 90 days of employment).
