Position Description:
Originates and completes mortgage loan applications, submits loan files to processing and provides the highest level of customer service to our customers. Designs and implements comprehensive business plan to increase sales and build relationships with referral sources.
Position Accountabilities:
Completes telephone, mail-away and face-to-face Loan Applications with clients and approves loan disclosures for distribution to clients. All required fields in the application to be completed including all third party information prior to approval.
Determines proper program placement of a loan file (i.e. FHA, VA, Conventional, USDA, etc.).
Prices loans and locks rates as per Company policy.
Reviews returned applications and documentation for completeness, accuracy, and compliance.
Runs AUS and reviews for findings and required documentation.
Prepares requested Pre-Qualifications as per Company policy. Orders credit reports, appraisals and title requests. Conducts regular follow-ups with clients and referral sources.
Maintains regular communication with applicants throughout the processing period, assisting them with any questions and notifying them of any additional information required.
Submits loan file allowing for stated turn times and works in conjunction with assigned Processor.
Maintains pipeline of all loans in process, tracks their progress and meets all contractual deadlines.
Assists all parties including the Processor during the entire process.
Meets or exceeds minimum production requirements.
Attends all settlements when possible.
Completes annual Business Plan and meets regularly with Sales Manager.
Keep informed of trends and developments in the local real estate market and competitive environment, as well as changes in rules and regulations pertaining to both private and government insured mortgages.
Maintain a professional image and standards consistent with company policies and procedures.

Summary Of Role
The LoanSpecialist III is responsible for producing loan documents and reviewing closed loan documents. Individuals in this role are responsible for preparing commercial, consumer, and consumer real estate loan documents to support the legality of the loan transactions. They also ensure the required documentation has been obtained and properly executed for closed loans. In addition, the LoanSpecialist ensures that all collateral is properly perfected and that the loan was prepared in accordance with the terms and conditions that were approved. Commercial loan types include real estate secured loans, land trust mortgage loans, asset-based lines of credit, secured term loans, letters of credit and complex credits involving tenants-in-common loans, attorney- prepared loans and syndicated and participated credits
Major Duties and Responsibilities
Produces all documents for loans (using LaserPro), ensuring adherence to all approved terms and conditions and proper perfection of all collateral within requested turnaround time.
Reads and interprets approved credit memos to determine type and structure of the loan in order to correctly identify and produce loan documents that accurately represent the loan commitment and terms offered to the borrower.
Prepares early disclosures, renewal/modification documents and payment extension documents, in addition to new loan documents.
Reviews and validates all documentation related to the loan for accuracy, completeness and compliance with lending laws and regulations.
Reviews all documents for adherences to all approved terms and conditions and all monitoring requirements and loan covenants.
Interacts and works with the lending staff to address and identify any discrepancies and/or deficiencies in the closing documents and addresses concerns/questions to develop solutions.
Reviews and validates documentation collected by lending staff (i.e., lien/UCC searches, title searches, titles, certificates of ownership, flood determinations, etc.) to check for accuracy, completeness and compliance with loan approval. Plans, organizes and prioritizes work to meet deadlines and to present completed documents with minimal errors or deficiencies.
Creates appropriate exceptions for omitted documents and those with errors.
Determines if policy exceptions and/or regulatory exceptions exist and creates the appropriate exception.
Creates recurring monitoring schedules for applicable documents and ticklers and/or recurring exceptions for loan covenants or special loan terms.
Provides direction, instruction, and guidance to junior credit specialists in the department.
Records security documents to ensure proper perfection of collateral.
Creates processing checklists to release collateral and review paid off loans for commercial transactions, commercial real estate transactions, and consumer and consumer real estate transactions.
Process UCC continuations and terminations.
Performs a variety of imaging duties such as verifying the quality of scanned documents, correcting, indexing, cross referencing and deleting documents.
Reviews and validates recurring monitoring and covenant items related to exception clearing.
Performs Hazard and Flood Insurance monitoring for real estate secured loans and processes force-placed insurance.
Must comply with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot
Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.

Mortgage Loan Originator Specialist (Full-time/Part-time):
As a Mortgage Loan Originator Specialist at Maharaja Enterprises, your responsibilities will include:
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, including borrowers, real estate agents, and other industry professionals.
Lead Generation: Generate leads for mortgage loan origination through various channels, including networking, referrals, and marketing strategies.
Loan Application Process: Guide borrowers through the mortgage loan application process, including collecting necessary documentation, assisting with the completion of application forms, and ensuring compliance with lending requirements.
Pre-Qualification and Pre-Approval: Evaluate borrowers' financial profiles, review credit reports, income documents, and other relevant information to determine their eligibility for mortgage financing. Provide pre-qualification and pre-approval letters to qualified borrowers.
Mortgage Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with the latest mortgage products, interest rates, and lending guidelines. Educate borrowers on the different loan options available and help them select the most suitable mortgage program for their needs.
Financial Analysis: Analyze borrowers' financial information, including income, assets, and debts, to assess their creditworthiness and ability to repay the loan. Make recommendations based on the analysis and assist in finding suitable loan solutions.

Experience:
- Experience as a Mortgage Loan Originator or similar role
- Strong knowledge of mortgage products, including conventional loans, FHA loans, VA loans, and jumbo loans
- Familiarity with escrow processes and procedures
- Excellent math skills for calculating loan amounts, interest rates, and monthly payments
- Proficient in using 10-key typing for accurate data entry
- Ability to read and interpret complex financial documents, such as tax returns and bank statements
- Strong communication skills to effectively explain loan options and requirements to borrowers
- Detail-oriented with the ability to review contracts and identify potential issues or discrepancies
