Job Requirements:
The role includes identifying opportunities, developing a capture plan, and executing the capture plan for acquisition targets.
Develop and grow organizational presence within Federal government space.

Ensure all bids are compelling, complete, and compliant that reflect win strategy elements and align to evaluation factors.
Review and edit proposal responses for consistency, compliance, win theme incorporation, solution accuracy, and other elements during regular and core team review cycles in order to create the final proposal submission.
Experience Requirements:
Five (5)+ years Federal Government business development and/or Capture Management experience associated with identification, qualification, full capture and bid activities.
A strong working knowledge of US Federal Procurements as well as an understanding of government acquisitions and customer buying behaviors.
A proven track record of successful capture across multiple organizations and program offices across the federal landscape.
A track record of leading sizeable and strategic captures and winning those competitions; as well as developing and managing a multiple opportunity pipeline.
Advanced knowledge of government and military contracts, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), GSA, and common Government RFP requirements and the capture process.
Technical writing and proposal development experience.

Issues and reviews client invoices to ensure they are in accordance with the contract terms and assists in the timely collection of accounts receivable while performing detailed reviews of unbilled revenue.
Provides monthly estimate-at-completion (EAC) budget forecast which includes calculating budget overruns and revenue adjustments as well as month-end reporting on project performance including gross margin variances and ad hoc reporting.
A key player in the month-end close process, which includes booking cost accruals and deferrals, ensuring revenue recognition is complete and accurate, and completing account reconciliations for each organization.
Preparation of intercompany reconciliations and entries.
Preparation of standard monthly journal entries; prepaids, accruals, reclasses, etc., as needed.
Produces monthly accounting reports for financial statements and monthly management reports.
Compares actual costs to estimates and analyzes variances.
Required Skills and Experience
BS in Accounting preferred or equivalent experience. Minimum of 2 years project accounting and GL experience.
Advanced Excel skills and use of Microsoft Office applications.
