As the Sales Director to focus Business Development, you will lead a team of six Business Development Representatives (BDRs) and drive strategic growth across the Southern California territory. This role is a blend of leadership and execution-90% focused on management and business strategy, and 10% on direct sales efforts. Key Responsibilities Team Leadership & Strategy Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing BDR team to exceed sales targets and expand market presence. Conduct regular sales calls and performance reviews to assess district progress, identify challenges, and implement solutions. Analyze sales trends, customer feedback, and market data to inform strategic decisions and optimize regional performance. Develop and execute action plans to improve productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction. Sales Execution Prospect and close new retail partners through in-person B2B sales engagements. Promote Intermex's Point-of-Sale (POS) solutions, including International Wire Transfers, Bill Payments, Check Cashing, and Mobile Top-Up services. Conduct On-Site Business Reviews (OBRs) to strengthen client relationships and identify growth opportunities. Market Development Identify and recommend new product or service opportunities based on market trends and customer needs. Collaborate cross-functionally to support product enhancements and service delivery improvements. Qualifications Proven track record of selling to small and mid-sized retail businesses (SMBs). Demonstrated success in expanding customer bases and driving revenue growth. Minimum of 5 years' experience leading B2B sales teams within a defined geographic territory. Proficiency in CRM platforms and Microsoft Office Suite. Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Willingness to travel extensively within the territory (65%+ travel required). This is a remote position overseeing operations in the West, while managing sales in Southern California.
