Modern drugs have the potential to significantly improve patient's quality of life, however, they must be taken correctly, with the proper frequency, and in the appropriate dosage. **A caregiver in this position works 8-hour varying shifts between 6:00AM - 9:00PM.** A caregiver who excels in this role will: + Provide safe, efficient, patient-centered, evidence-based medication services. + Verify medication orders and/or dispense medications accurately according to state and federal regulations. + Document services in a complete, accurate and timely manner. + Ensure all pharmacy operations comply with national accreditation standards. + Maintain professional interactions with patients to facilitate successful patient experiences. + Educate and train students, residents, other caregivers, and/or patients. The Department of Pharmacy has a "Greening the Pharmacy" initiative with the goal of leading by example and acting as stewards of our natural resources for the wellbeing of all. **Work Experience** : + Completion of a post-graduate year 1 residency (PGY1), fellowship or relevant post-graduate pharmacy experience preferred. + Post-graduate year 2 residency (PGY2) or relevant experience preferred for Clinical Pharmacists hired in a Specialized Pharmacy practice area (i.e. Critical Care, Oncology). **Physical Requirements** : + Typical physical demands include ability to perform the job while standing and walking for prolonged times, approximately 75% of shift and continuously for extended periods of time. + Manual dexterity sufficient to perform computer and dispensing functions of the job; ability to lift up to 30 lbs. + Position often includes reaching, stretching, stooping, climbing steps and sitting. + Must have normal or corrected vision. + Must have ability to clearly communicate verbally by phone or in person **Personal Protective Equipment** : + Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required. **Pay Range** Minimum Annual Salary: $101,900.00 Maximum Annual Salary: $155,390.00 The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires.
