About this role:
As a Cardiologist specializing in Heart Failure, you'll work with a dedicated Advanced Practitioner and RN to provide top-notch care and patient experience.
This is a 5 day per week position working at our Wheat Ridge Clinic (western suburb of Denver) at Lutheran Hospital
Lutheran Hospital is a beautiful, brand new (as of 8/2024), 324 bed level II trauma hospital (working towards level I designation)
You would continue to grow the Heart Failure program while also seeing general cardiology patients
General Cardiology Call is 1:18 for all 4 hospital sites with 1:6 weekend call/rounding at Lutheran Medical Center
You would be on inpatient service 1 week out of every 6 with no clinic that week

Compensation: Compensation: Our competitive compensation consists of a initial base salary of $535,000 plus a wRVU bonus incentive. Additionally, there is up to a $50,000 annual quality bonus. We are also offering a $25,000 starting bonus. A relocation bonus is also available if applicable.

Summary

Assists residents with meals and snacks, provides water and supplements as appropriate. The NA aids providers and nursing staff members with procedures, if needed. Documents resident interactions as needed and the outcomes related to resident care, behavior, activity, and dietary. Communicates resident's changing condition and care related concerns/responses to the charge nurse. Collects non-invasive body fluid specimens and gathers vital signs. Provides housekeeping and laundry services to assist residents with keeping living areas clean and operational. Provides assistance and documentation with wellness and recreational programs and encourages residents to participate. May participate in departmental/organization committees and task forces as needed.
Qualifications
High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred, but not required. Minimum of 18 years of age.
Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position by being enrolled in a training program or in the process of obtaining certification through Endorsement. CNA training and certification required and provided by facility. Colorado: Depending on facility, Qualified Medication Administration Person (QMAP) certification with the Colorado Department of Public Health & Environment required. Satisfactorily completes yearly department specific competency testing and maintains a record of continuing education credits for each year. A minimum of 12 hours continuing education are required annually. Maintains all department specific required certifications. When applicable, for applicable states, certified and registered with the Unlicensed Assistive Person (UAP) Registry. About this role:
As a PRN Physician in Palliative Medicine, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. In this role, you will collaborate with a well-established Hospice and Palliative Care team, providing as-needed support across our inpatient Hospice Unit, inpatient Palliative Care service, and occasional telehealth visits. This work includes assisting patients with goals-of-care discussions, symptom management, medication optimization, and care coordination.
You will work primarily at the Lutheran Hospice Collier Hospice Center and provide coverage for our Inpatient Palliative Care team at Lutheran, Good Samaritan, Platte Valley and St. Joseph's.
We are seeking coverage for weekends, nights, and holidays, with a regular cadence that can be tailored to your availability.
What you'll bring:
MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
Residency training in Family or Internal Medicine
Board certification or eligibility in Palliative Medicine
2+ years of experience strongly preferred
Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one
Full prescriptive authority and an active DEA, or the ability to obtain one
Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health's credentialing process
