Responsibilities:
Conduct the duties of a Boiler Operator for three high pressure boilers as prescribed by law. Operates and documents all systems and services of the Utilities Department, including the boilers, compressed air, chillers, co-generation, switch gear, fire systems and water treatment.
Provides coverage for Chief Operating Engineer and alternate shift operators in their absence.
Plan, prioritize and coordinate the activities of Utility operation, outside contractors and service providers as required on the off-shift.
Monitor and troubleshoot utilities through Building Automation and Fire System HMI's.
Assist Engineering with development of capital/expense projects that target are improvements.
Adheres to and maintains GMP and Safety programs in the Utilities Department.
Provides alternate shift coverage for vacation and sick leave.
Provide call-in service to Operations 24/7. All candidates are required to participate in emergency call-in requests as the need arises. Maintenance/Utility personnel are expected to work week-day OT, weekend OT and holiday OT as the need arises.
Required Skills:
Essential:
High Pressure Blue Seal Engineers License, issued by State of NJ.
Refrigerant, toxic Blue Seal, issued by the State of NJ
Proficient with specialty programs such as Building Automation System, fire alarm system and energy management software.
Proficient with MS Word, Excel and Windows operating system.
The ability to read and interpret technical equipment drawings and documentation.
Preferred:
Red Seal Engineers License, issued by State of NJ.
Certified in LO/TO and confined space entry, fork lift operation.

Under the direction of the Director of Plating Process Engineering, the Plating Process Technician provides support to the engineering teams in the plating area, including assisting with wet etch process, preparing and maintaining recipes, reviewing and documenting process or procedures, and expediting and dispositioning prototype wafers; maintains process controls using Statistical Process Control (SPC), collects and analyzes data, and recommends corrective action. This position is located in Milpitas, California.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Provides support to the engineering teams in the plating, wet etch, and stripping process areas
Supports the plating, wet etch, and stripping processes by preparing, maintaining, and setting up recipes to ensure an efficient and consistent process
Reviews and documents processes and procedures; partners with engineering to implement changes effectively
Expedites and dispositions prototype wafers in the plating, wet etch and stripping areas
Assists engineers to run plating process development experiments, collects and analyzes data, and recommends corrective action if required
Reviews and maintains process controls using SPC and prepares charts and graphs
Assists with routine trouble-shooting and resolves basic process-related issues
Participates in and recommends modifications to procedures or processes in support of continuous improvement initiatives
Collaborates with Engineering to qualify or approve new processes or procedures
Creates reports, charts, or graphs on an ad-hoc or routine basis
Prepares daily pass down report for engineers, next shift plating process technicians, and manufacturing plating technicians
Responds to inquiries from other team members, managers, or departments

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Associates degree in Electronics or Industrial Technology and/or equivalent relevant experience
Two years of experience working in the semiconductor industry
Knowledge of plating, wet processes and procedures
Hands on experience using metrology tools such as pH meter, Tencor Thickness Profiler, XRF, and B-H loop tools
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Applications
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of semiconductor or hard disk drive (HDD) principles and processes

WORKING CONDITIONS:
The Plating Process Technician works primarily in an indoor environment on A shift which is Monday thru Wednesday and every other Thursday 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The schedule may be altered from time-to-time to meet business or operational needs; may travel from building-to-building as needed. Works in a class 100 ESD sensitive wafer manufacturing facility; wears a cleanroom (bunny) suit, including hood, gloves, safety glasses, booties, and mask. May be exposed to hazardous conditions, chemicals, fumes, and/or gases during the course of work day; Stands and walks; performs various fine grasping movements, bends, and twists; operates a computer and enters information using a keyboard, operates a telephone, and other office equipment. Must be able to load and unload various wet etch chemical solutions several times per shift. May be required to push, pull, or lift up to 25 pounds.

Requirements:

ProductionOperator/Operations Technician will carry out the activities involved in the manufacture of specialty chemicals. Employee must follow ISO and PSM procedures in all phases of productionoperations. Performs SAP functions in data entry and also performs laboratory analyses, as needed. Knowledge of IMDG and 49 CFR dangerous goods certification for shipment of materials. Follows established quality standards, Company safety standards and EHS policies at all times.
Responsibilities:
Load and unload tank wagons and rail cars, both raw materials and finished products
Perform blending operations in storage tanks
Operation of facility's reactors for batch operations
Transfer materials between vessels
Perform blending operations in storage tanks
Automatic and manual charging, sampling and controlling reaction and process vessels.
Transferring raw materials from rail cars and tank trucks to storage tanks, unloading finished products to tote bins or drums as directed.
Handling hazardous materials safely.
Recording process data on batch logs, batch records and inventory control records.
Adhere to approved work instructions.
Maintain housekeeping and safe work conditions.
General plant maintenance.
Accepts responsibility for his or her own safety and health. Performs assigned duties in a manner that is safe and protective of the environment. REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of high school diploma or GED equivalent required.

Must be willing to wear a full-face respirator or SCBA
Available to work 12-hour shifts (fixed days or nights), weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
Operator forklift truck and be capable of passing certification testing.
Demonstrate basic math skills and knowledge of computers.
Physically able to work under SCBA and full PPE and must be physically capable to handle bags and drums of materials
