The Job You Will Perform:
This role will work closely with a variety of different groups and departments within Packaging Solutions North America (PSNA) but will report directly to the Region General Manager with functional reporting to the Area Manufacturing Manager.
The Regional Throughput Engineer responsibility is to increase the overall productivity of the region by analyzing facility performance utilizing key metrics: Corrugator MSF/hour, Converting MSF/hour, maintenance budget, and electrical & mechanical downtime. The Regional Throughput Engineer will also have influence in assisting the region with capital allocation decisions and defining implementation strategies.
To effectively impact performance, the Regional Throughput Engineer should understand effective throughput management with ability to lead & speak to troubleshooting efforts, familiarity with maintenance budgets, and comfort working with key suppliers & creating influence without authority.
The Skills You Will Bring:
* BS/BA in Engineering; preferred Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial
* 5+ Years of manufacturing experience
* Experience in a heavy industrial environment in operations and/or maintenance
* Corrugated packaging manufacturing experience preferred.

* Identify capital solutions to reliability opportunities

* Assist in checkout and start-up activities, conduct post completion audits of all capital projects in your region
* Provide support for budgeting cycle targeted at delivering year over year savings
* Ability to assist & assure both monthly waste and MSF/HR plans are effective and being implemented
* Identify bottlenecks within plants and aid in development of plans to increase machine speed

**The Job You Will Perform:**

This may be accomplished by using all maintenance resources from the site to address work anywhere across the site. Provides support in the areas of safety, maintenance, building security, housekeeping, grounds keeping, cost effectiveness, and promotes continuous improvement.
+ Analyzes high maintenance cost centers and in consultation with the respective manager, implements solutions to reduce and improve the cost.
+ Work with vendors to consolidate purchases where cost savings can be derived
+ May manage work to be contracted out by planning the tasks to be completed, developing a scope of work, and contacting contractors for quotations. After review and acceptance of a bid, utilizes the SAP system to create a requisition and will release service entries upon completion of work and receipt of invoices.
+ Actively participate in ensuring a safe work environment.
+ Perform preventive maintenance administrative activities.

**The Skills You Will Bring:**
+ High School Diploma, or G.E.D, supplemented by technical or college course work in facility maintenance AND four (4) years of experience in manufacturing facilities maintenance performing planning, purchasing and project coordination; OR, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the position.
+ Maintenance stores inventory experience and strong computer skills, including SAP, required. What You Will Do
Will be responsible for planning, monitoring and supervising all activities associated with Maintenance technicians of assigned areas.
Assist in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical/electronic, pneumatics and hydraulic equipment including power supplies, drives, gages and test equipment. Installs, start-up and shutdown of equipment in accordance with company safety procedures for machine activation and shutdown under OSHA requirements.
Perform preventative maintenance functions and considered a working Team Leader.
Perform or assist in fabrication, Predicative Maintenance, and routine checks.
Assist both Operations and Maintenance personnel with technical troubleshooting.
