Summary:
We are looking for motivated individuals who are looking to explore a career in manufacturing leadership and/ or at International Paper. Successful candidates will be capable of performing a multitude of functions in a flexible, fast-paced production environment. Opportunities will be throughout Ohio, located in Streetsboro, Wooster, Mt. Vernon, Newark, Marion, Delaware, Eaton and Middletown. Our workplace requires individuals who understand the nature of the business while maintaining a focus on safety, customer satisfaction, quality and productivity.
Successful candidates will work approximately 80% on our production floor with the production team to learn from the ground up, being exposed to each area of our business. Specifically, they will run machines, read factory orders, accurately read tape measures, gauges and other test equipment, utilize shop math, inspect, count and stack product, accurately complete quality and administrative documents and follow directions. In addition, the remaining 20% of the time will be assigned a project relating to leadership to complete and report out on by the end of the summer assignment. The expectation is to work with local leadership to demonstrate growth in leadership skills.
Candidates must be willing to work alternative shifts, weekends and / or overtime as needed. A highly qualified candidate will express and interest in supervision, direction and leadership in safety, quality, productivity, and engagement to ensure goals are met. Preferred candidates will be those who are finishing a degree in a related field of study such as manufacturing, leadership, and / or engineering.

Nashville Zoo Veterinary Department is offering an externship for 4th-year Veterinary School Students, both international and domestic, working towards a career in exotic animal medicine. This internship is posted May 1st through September 15th of every year with interviews in October.
Purpose
The Veterinary Intern assists in every aspect of the medical care of the Nashville Zoo's animals, including veterinary procedures, clinical lab work, and care of hospitalized/quarantined animals.
Key Responsibilities
-Work with three full-time veterinarians, three full time licensed veterinary technicians, and two full-time hospital keepers.
-Assist with day-to-day operations of the zoo's medical procedures including preventative and emergency care including examinations, clinical procedures, surgery, and necropsy.
-Assist doctors in keeping thorough records of all medical cases and procedures.
-Assist with animal husbandry (cleaning, feeding, and medicating) of hospitalized patients and quarantine animals.
-Provide laboratory support for veterinary medical technicians, including hematology, parasitology, and cytology.
-Responsible for researching and studying about upcoming and current cases
-Assist with tasks that keep the hospital function smoothly including stocking of medical supplies, wrapping surgical equipment, and maintaining the cleanliness of the hospital.
-Responsible for presenting a 25 to 30- minute presentation towards the end of their externship to the animal care staff on either a current, pertinent topic or on a research project performed by the student.

Position Overview:

What we've done
We first launched Fizz at Stanford in July 2021 and have since seen >95% of undergraduates join the app, half of which use Fizz every day. Since raising a $25M Series B in July 2023, we have established ourselves as the dominant community platform at 350+ colleges, have begun to generate revenue through partnerships, and are actively expanding to communities beyond college.
Where we're going
We have three primary goals for 2026: continue our expansion to the entire US college market, drive revenue growth through continuous product iteration, and build product to expand our userbase and become the dominant social platform for all of Gen-Z, not just US college students.
As a Fizz intern, you will be able to use your own experience of being a Fizz user to directly build for a product you care about. We aim to give our engineering interns the same responsibilities and autonomy as full-time engineers, and you'll be responsible for owning large initiatives end-to-end. If this type of experience excites you, this internship will be a great fit.
Interns will work full-time out of our NYC office and receive a housing stipend + financial compensation.
Your Responsibilities
* Imagine, design, deploy, and iterate new product features end-to-end (example projects include building advanced systems that use LLMs to moderate content, architecting a content recommendation system to improve the Fizzin feed, building new product features like campus events or job postings, and much more).
* Write clean, efficient, and scalable code that meets project requirements.
* Design and implement RESTful APIs that are scalable, reliable, and secure.
* Work closely with senior engineers to support ongoing projects and tasks.
Qualifications
* Be a current or graduating college student that is personally a user of Fizz.
* Strong fundamentals of CS concepts such as Algorithms, Data Structures, Networking, Operating Systems, Databases.
* Experience building several products from 0-1
* Direct experience with any area of our tech stack (Swift, Google Cloud Platform, Typescript, Node JS)

Locations: The 2026 Summer Internship Program will be offered in our Chicago and New York offices.
Hybrid Model: This is a full-time (35-40 hours a week) paid internship that operates in a hybrid model, with 3-4 days expected to be in office. To ensure you can fully immerse yourself in our collaborative culture, come the start of the program in June, you must be located within a commutable distance of the office you plan to work in.
