Eaton Fiber is seeking an experienced Permitting / Right of Way Coordinator to be the subject matter expert on all permitting of a large fiber deployment in the various markets. Experience in right-of-way and encroachment permits for telecommunication build preferred. Candidate must have local permitting experience and an understanding of the permitting application process for multiple Jurisdictions.
Requirements and Responsibilities
In conjunction with Engineering, coordinate and acquire permits and agreements in all aspects of an Eaton Fiber build deployment project.
Oversee the movement of permits from design by the vendor to the jurisdiction.
Oversee relations between our vendor and the jurisdictions as well as manage the quality and direction requested by the jurisdiction and intervene when necessary to ensure that permit requirements are being fulfilled.
Ensure all permit payments are timely and invoiced appropriately
As necessary, interfaces with jurisdictional staff to ensure compliance with applicable laws, codes, and ordinances, and leverage regulatory status to support deployment objectives.
Collaborates and coordinates with internal functional groups to resolve permit issues and achieve project milestones, ensuring on-time and on-budget network delivery.
Tracks permit project progress and maintain accurate data entry.
Coordinates network permitting functions, including reviewing project reports, identifying issues, and ensuring adherence to cycle times and project forecasting accuracy.
Ensures all permits are submitted in a timely manner to ensure fiber build projects are not delayed.
Ensure are permits are worked in a timely manner and are closed with the issuing authority correctly.
Other duties as maybe assigned.
What we are looking for:
Bachelor's degree and min 5+ years of permitting experience in either the engineering, construction, architecture, or telecommunications industries;
Experience with and understanding of wireline technologies specifically OSP fiber builds (buried/aerial, UG)
Familiarity with coordinating ROW issues and managing OSP for aerial Fiber Optic networks.
Ability to manage permitting processes, including highway, railroad, city, county, state, and municipal requirements for telecommunications construction.
Local knowledge of traffic control permitting requirements.
Expertise in Microsoft Office programs and Adobe Acrobat. Working knowledge of Google Earth/Maps.
Highly organized, self-starter, and detail-oriented with excellent time management and strong attention to detail.
Possess strong professional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to negotiate, build consensus, and provide solutions to problems.
Ability to take direction with ease, including changes to schedule and workflow priorities, and work independently or as a team member.
Critical thinking skills to make assessments and provide solutions to problems.

Profile Description:

Contribute to the development and improvement of quality program and procedures
Maintain certification as Lead Auditor in accordance with NQA-1

Update approved suppliers list, performing annual and triennial updates, as applicable, to maintain associated supplier information
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Extensive experience with 10 CFR 50, Appendix B and NQA-1

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Ensure the department operates efficiently and effectively in meeting the internal and external member's needs.

This position is responsible for ensuring compliance, consistency, and service excellence within the collections department. This role oversees the execution of internal audits, evaluates call quality, investigates and resolves member complaints, and leads or supports projects aimed at improving processes and performance. By monitoring adherence to regulatory requirements, internal policies, and customer service standards, the specialist helps mitigate risk, enhance operational efficiency, and uphold the credit union's commitment to member satisfaction and ethical collections practices.

Salary range for this position is $90,593.36 - $105,914.12 with a progressive benefit package. This is an onsite position in North Liberty, IA with the ability for hybrid after 6 months.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Performs essential duties and responsibilities in the following areas which may include but are not limited to those listed and are subject to change. Ensure the department operates efficiently and effectively in meeting the internal and external member's needs. Responsible for departmental project management and will be the lead contact in all mergers and acquisitions, system upgrades, and conversions. Coordinate with other departments, and/or third-party vendors in the development and implementation of all process improvements affecting the Collections Department. Coordinates all Vendor Management activities, including contract renewals, obtaining necessary documents, and submission of all new requests for final approval by SVP/Collections & Recoveries. Develops and implement software/system test scripts and integrate workarounds to provide fixes to defined technical issues Communicates process changes, enhancements, and modifications - verbally or through written documentation - to management, peers, staff, and other employees so that technology issues and solutions within the account resolution department are understood. Manages the timely audit of necessary data for year-end reporting documents, including but not limited to 1099C. Oversees the production and distribution of said documents by appropriate processing team. Manages KaiNexus for the Collections Department. Reviews, researches, completes necessary analytics, and compiles evaluation and recommendation for prioritization and implementation to present to Department Leader. Works closely with other Information Technology teams and other Credit Union departments; coordinating projects that need shared resources, determining and resolving any overlapping impacts on various systems, and ensuring good working relationships between all employees. Provides support and assistance during internal, state, and federal audits and examinations. Assists Leaders with various projects within the department. Supports the SVP/Collections & Recoveries and department leaders with other duties and tasks necessary to ensure the Collections Department is efficient and successful. Manages Quality Assurance process for department completing monthly call monitors for staff, scoring specific number of calls for each individual within the department, providing coaching and feedback on the effectiveness of each call. Completes monthly quality assurance reviews for support staff tasks such as case audits, Loss Mitigation applications, workflow completeness, E-Oscar compliance for notifications and response, charge-offs etc. Identifies opportunities for and participates in the development and implementation of process improvements to improve efficiency, compliance, and to reduce the opportunity for human error. Provides ongoing mentoring for staff within the department ensuring that consistent communication and support is available, including a 30/60/90-day check-in with new hires. Serves as the point of contact for all Collection complaints, including thoroughly investigating and documenting customer complaints, and if applicable, rectify any issues while complying with company policies and regulations Responsible for completing auditing on various processes to ensure adherence to investor and GSCU policies. Maintain thorough knowledge of and ensure compliance with applicable federal and state laws, rules, regulations, investor guidelines as well as GSCU policies and procedures.
Job Requirements/Expectations
Bachelor's degree in business or related field and/or equivalent years' experience required. Minimum 5-years' experience working in Collections or Call Center environment. Knowledge of procedures, processes, policies, and regulations as they relate to collections and areas of responsibility. Excellent interpersonal and persuasive skills necessary to gather data from multiple sources to complete projects and to represent the Credit Union in a positive way during periods of stressful member contact. Self-directed nature, ability to work independent of supervision, and ability to follow directions and meet deadlines. Positive attitude, team first focus with an emphasis on providing outstanding customer service and team support. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail are required. Ability, availability, and willingness to work flexible hours to accomplish workload. Ability to coordinate, prioritize, and complete multiple, ongoing projects in a fast paced and collaborative environment. A working knowledge of compliance, consumer credit, real estate, and bankruptcy laws and regulations is preferred. Working knowledge of Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), Fair Credit reporting Act (FCRA) Unfair Deceptive and Abusive Acts & Practices (UDAAP). Ability to work independently prioritize assignments and organize work efficiently, to handle large volumes of details. Creative, adaptable, accurate, strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving skills.

2+ years of relevant QA technical experience
Ability to write and execute SQL Queries
Ability to manipulate data in a SQL database
Previous experience writing test cases
Troubleshooting knowledge with custom software
Excellent problem solving capability (business and technical)
Enjoys working in the software development and automation technology field (very computer literate)
Strong quality control, quality assurance and computer skills including: TFS, manual and automated testing tools, and various Databases (SQL Server and Oracle).

SUMMARY: The Quality Assurance Specialist I / SQF Practitioner as an alternate supports duties associated with the facility's primary SQF Practitioner. The incumbent may assist in maintaining processes supporting the facility's SQF Food Safety Management system control program and assures all departments are following SQF practices as well as operating procedures through process audits and testing. Must be the site leader in living and driving the Company Core Values and High-Performance Work Culture. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs inspections and tests of cans, can components, packaging products, etc. per documented procedures. Proven ability to use the following types of inspection hand tools such as: Calipers, micrometers, linear scales Gage pins, thread gages, custom gages Optical comparators, profiles, microscopes Electronic measuring equipment (e.g., digital displays, output) Weights, balances and scales Hardness testing equipment (e.g., Brinell, Rockwell, etc.) Surface plate methods and equipment Gage maintenance, handling, and storage Maintains Calibration system and calibration records for multiple ICC Facilities. Calibrates hand tools, gages, and equipment for production use. Maintains outside calibration processes. Prepares & maintains QA records, including PC based records. Works on other shifts as needed/required as normally assigned to provide QA support for scheduled absence within the department or otherwise needed. Assumes a lead role in in training of personnel regarding quality procedures, GMP and measurement techniques. Prepares Certificates of Conformance or Analysis for ICC manufactured products and maintains records. Assumes a lead role in notifying responsible supervisors and plant management of noncompliance to established operating procedures. Analyzes procedural methods and documentation to identify deficiencies and revises or creates new when the need is identified. Reviews and evaluates responses, corrective actions & effectiveness of Internal & External Process Improvement Events and participates on process improvement teams. Plans, coordinates & serves as a Lead Auditor on process, GMP, and other quality audits. Prepares charts of results and provides analysis to identify improvement initiatives. Prepares sampling plans for dimensional studies/analysis of manufactured items and ensures the results are documented per the plan. Provides analysis of and conclusions drawn from the results. Researches and recommends upgrades in QA equipment and methods. Supports goals and objectives for the QA department and company quality & safety policies. Maintains the QA lab with a high level of quality, organization & neatness. Performs other duties as assigned. Supports the maintenance of the SQF Food Safety System, including Good Manufacturing Practices and the packaging food safety plan. Takes appropriate actions to ensure the integrity of the SQF Food Safety System. Communicates to relevant personnel all information essential to ensure the effective implementation and maintenance of the SQF Food Safety System. Understands and applies principles in maintaining HACCP based risk management plans. Has an understanding of the SQF Food Safety Code for Manufacture of Food Packaging and the requirements to implement and maintain SQF System relevant to food sector category 27. Provides training and guidance in the SQF Food Safety System to other facility employees All other duties as assigned. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This role will have no supervisory responsibilities.

Must have completed or be able to complete HACCP training course or have prior experience in maintaining Food Safety Management programs.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, write and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos. Ability to effectively present information one-on-one and in small group situations to and for other employees of the organization. Able to work well and communicate effectively with others
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals, rate and percentage. Must be competent with basic computer skills.
COMPUTER SKILLS: Ability to perform basic computer functions and use various software applications in the QA department. Ability to generate and format documents, tables and charts using MS Word and Excel. Ability to analyze data and report the results logically and draw recommendations from the data.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Must have a solid understanding of corrective action systems or have a strong background in problem-solving methodologies and techniques.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, and sit. The employee is occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
