Its personal care products serve as ingredients in the formulation of skin care, hair care, toiletry, and cosmetic products; pharmaceutical, food, and beverage products are sold to the respective government-regulated industries; performance chemicals product line includes acetylene-based polymers, vinyl ether monomers, and materials for consumer, agricultural, and industrial applications; and fine chemicals are sold to the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, agricultural, and imaging markets. This segment produces approximately 400 specialty chemicals. The Industrial Chemicals segment markets intermediate and solvent products, such as butanediol, tetrahydrofuran, and N-methyl pyrrolidone primarily to industrial markets for use in plastics, lubricating oil and chemical processing, electronics cleaning, and coatings. The Mineral Products segment manufactures and sells semiceramic-coated colored roofing, algae resistant, and head lap granules primarily to the United States roofing industry for use in the manufacture of asphalt roofing shingles. The company operates in North America, Europe, the Asia-Pacific, and Latin America. International Specialty Holdings, Inc. was founded in 2001 and is based in Wilmington, Delaware. International Specialty Holdings, Inc. is a subsidiary of Ashland Global Holdings Inc.
