International Women's Forum company history timeline
IWF UK was founded in 1989 by a small group of visionary women who saw the need for an organisation specifically for female leaders at a time when many sectors of the economy were heavily male-dominated.
In 1990, what was then the Massachusetts Women’s Forum brought together prominent women leaders in the Commonwealth to ensure that women advanced to top positions, in a wide range of institutions and organizations, where they could influence the careers of aspiring women.
At the 25th anniversary in 2014, Rosalind Gilmore recalled the discussion she had had with Jane Macon, then IWF President, which led to the UK joining. “Britain put the ‘I’ into IWF,” she said.
In 2016, Jenkins-Scott founded JJS Advising, focusing on leadership development and organizational strategy.
