As a Construction Materials Engineering and Testing/ Geotechnical Intern at Gessner Engineering, you will assist the Department in their daily operations. Responsibilities: Aid team in field service requests Assisting lab crew with performing lab testing. Collaborate with peers to review and request or provide guidance on appropriate project direction Draft lab and field reports for project manager review and approval Collaborate in a team setting with department members and other design disciplines such as civil, structural, and external sub-consultants and clients, as necessary, for project coordination. Provide regular project updates and a forecast of obstacles to a supervising project manager Skills and special requirements/licensing: Ability to lift 50lbs, bend, stoop, and work in varying weather conditions across varying terrain A valid driver's license with a clean driving record for the past 3 years At least 21 years of age or older, to be insurable on our auto insurance Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions with precise execution.
