General Summer Roles Overview

Summer Camp Counselor
The Summer Camp Counselor Team will be responsible for coaching and mentoring young people to become responsible citizens and active golfers through the delivery of daily life skills and golf instruction via summer camp programs.
The Summer Counselor will:
Assist with the development and execution of First Tee's Youth Programs by providing a fun and safe environment during weekly programs geared to participants ages 5 to 13 at green grass and youth center facilities.

Basic understanding of lean manufacturing, workplace organization, or continuous improvement tools.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); knowledge of Power BI is a plus.
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively on the shop floor with cross-functional teams.
Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and eager to learn.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer as well as prolonged periods on the shop floor standing.
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.

We hire full-time from our internship programs, so growth within the organization is available.
We offer three internships per year: Summer, Fall, and Spring.

THE POSITION:
Responsibilities
· Customer lead generation
· Coordinate with manager to schedule appointments
· Work with team members and sales managers to ensure each prospect is taken care of to the highest quality of service
· Increase sales skills and experience through attending team meetings and training led by leaders with a proven track record.
Qualifications
· Entry-level, no previous experience required
· Must be able to commute to North Raleigh, or willing to relocate [corporate housing available]
· High sense of business morals and ethics
· Ability to clearly communicate in face-to-face customer interaction
