Separating Service members can be granted up to 180 days of permissive duty to focus solely on training full-time with approved industry partners after unit commander (first O-4/Field Grade commander in chain of command) provides written authorization and approval. GE Aviation as a Skill Bridge partner offers real-world training and work experience in in-demand fields of work while having the opportunity to evaluate the Service member's suitability for the work. Military DoD SkillBridge participants are not eligible for compensation from GE Aviation, as they continue to receive military compensation and benefits as active-duty service members.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities:
Role Summary/Purpose
The Electronic Analyzer & Tester's primary duty is to ensure that military and commercial avionics products perform their specifications in a satisfactory manner. Responsibilities include administering standardized functional and environmental tests and troubleshooting from a system level down to component level.
Essential Responsibilities:
* Understand and follow test specifications and procedures
* Ensure product compliance and quality
* Troubleshoot electronics systems, circuit card assemblies, and components
* Prescribe rework instructions for products needing repair
* Maintain product test records in quality data tracking system
Attend and participate in team meetings
Qualifications/Requirements:
* Associate degree in an electronics technology discipline from an accredited university or college OR
* High School Diploma / GED with two years of technical experience in testing and troubleshooting of highly technical electronic products which could include military electronics experience (i.e. A school, I level depo technician)
* Must be active military personnel
Eligibility Requirement:
* Able and willing to complete and pass the pre employment electronic principle's test, covering but not limited to such subjects as component identification and digital and analog circuit analysis
Desired Characteristics:
* Possess a thorough understanding of analog and digital circuits
* Experienced with general purpose test instruments (digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, function generators, phase angle voltmeters and automated test equipment)
* Able to fault isolate electronics to the component level
* Experienced in functional testing and environmental stress screening of class 3 electronics systems
* Able to follow technical procedures and specifications
* Able to read and understand technical documentation such as schematic diagrams and parts lists
* Experience using hand tools for electronics disassembly and troubleshooting.
* Knowledge of IPC 610 & J-STD soldering specifications
* Basic understanding of embedded software
* Familiar with Electric Static Discharge precautions
* Ability to work under minimum supervision by being motivated and a self-starter
* Keen attention to detail
* Proficient with Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office and PDF Viewers.

What Will you Do?
As a member of an interdisciplinary treatment team, the Recreational Therapist Intern utilizes clinical skills associated with current training in area of expertise, the expressive arts therapies, recreation therapies, and psycho-educational interventions to plan, organize and implement a program of ancillary services. Assesses patients' capabilities, needs, interests and goals to design an individualized treatment program consistent with the interdisciplinary team's goals. • Assesses patient care needs, develops/implements a treatment plan in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, and continually reassesses treatment plan according to patient care needs.

What Will you Do?
As a member of an interdisciplinary treatment team, the Recreational Therapist Intern utilizes clinical skills associated with current training in area of expertise, the expressive arts therapies, recreation therapies, and psycho-educational interventions to plan, organize and implement a program of ancillary services. The remainder of the duties will be performed in a combination of an office environment and construction/field environment which will involve trips to project sites. While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to sit, stand for long periods, and frequently is required to walk. The work typically requires the use of hands to type, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is regularly required to stand and perform work in the field. The typical week consists of five, eight-hour shifts. When in the field the employee must be able to climb stairs and endure typical construction site conditions. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.Occasional overnight travel may be required depending on the employee's home location. Frequent local field visits in the office metro area will be necessary. A valid and clean driver's license is required. Position Overview Commissioning (Cx) Interns assist Cx Project Managers in evaluating the design, installation, and operation of engineering systems for existing building renovations and new construction projects. These systems include HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Life Safety, Building Enclosure, and Control Technology systems. The position is temporary, having a start and end date in the offer. Engineering interns may be students or recent graduates with less than one year of experience in the industry. Upon completion of the internship, the position may be reevaluated for continued employment, or for rehire at a later date. Essential Job Functions
Assist Full-time Cx Staff Engineers with reviewing design, evaluating selected material and product submittals, or other engineering tasks
Collaborate with other engineers on routine Cx assigned engineering tasks
Navigate and manage software programs specifically designed for Cx Projects
Draft Cx Project Documents and write engineering reports with Senior Engineers
Perform site visits to see equipment and building systems as they are assembled and tested, verifying performance and contract spec compliance
Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor
Requirements
Minimum Education: Enrolled in a 4-year Engineering program or a graduate from a 4-Year Engineering Program with less than one year of relevant work experience (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Industrial, and Architectural Engineering preferred)
Ability to operate computer software such as Microsoft Office programs to perform basic engineering tasks
Additional Preferred Qualifications
Any field experience in Facilities, Construction, Building Trades, etc.

Willingness to travel to job sites with a Cx Project Manager
