The Office Administrator will support a large corporate office in Kansas City MO as the primary administrative point of contact. The City of Lenexa is accepting applications for a paid Parks and Recreation Intern for summer 2026. Hiring Timeline: Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis as they are submitted. Schedule: * Parks and Recreation operates throughout Lenexa with varying schedules; the intern should anticipate some evening and weekend hours for events and programs. * Work a consistent on-site schedule of 3540 hours per week, as mutually agreed upon with the supervisor. * Internship dates are flexible, with an estimated duration from mid-May to mid-August. Position Summary: This internship provides hands-on experience in program development, event coordination, and daily recreation operations. The intern will support community events, assist with recreation activities, and complete a special project highlighting program or event management skills.
