Develop processes for new product introduction

Primary Responsibilities
The Curatorial Intern will assist with:
Exhibition and collections research
Oral history sourcing and documentation
Application of interpretive frameworks
Outreach to Motown alumni
Artifact and image sourcing
Support during exhibition installations and deinstallations
Narrative development and object interpretation
General assistance with curatorial workflows and project administration
Qualifications
Applicants should meet the following requirements:
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program for Fall/Spring 2026
Studying Museum Studies, History, African American Studies, Art History, Communications, or a related field
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated experience in academic or independent research
Interest in Motown, music history, cultural heritage, or storytelling
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Able to adapt to a fast-paced work environment
Proficiency in Office 365
Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop preferred

Summary:
The Project Management Team is responsible for the successful completion of construction projects, from the initial hand-off from Estimating through final completion and close-out. PMs are responsible for overall project planning and scheduling, resource allocation, project accounting, and control, while providing technical direction and ensuring compliance with quality standards and applicable laws and regulations. As a Project Management Intern, you will assist in all of these activities by offering support and utilizing prior knowledge. The descriptions below are representative of, but not limited to, the expectations of this role.
Five Key Roles of the Project Management Intern:
Organizing and planning for the safe and efficient execution of the assigned projects
Assist in maintaining the financial controls of the project for the profit/loss of the project
Assisting in developing and maintaining the project schedule
Collaborating with PM team to estimate, price and negotiate the price on projects
Working with Superintendents and Estimating teams for project collaboration
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Education, Experience & Qualifications:
