We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchasing/General Office Specialist to support our supply chain and procurement operations. This role involves managing purchasing activities, coordinating with vendors, and maintaining efficient office workflows. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of materials management, procurement, and inventory control.
You will be working with our vendors, negotiating prices and deliveries, issuing POs, checking material receipts and approving invoices. Ideally you already have some knowledge of manufacturing and metal working equipment.
Responsibilities:
Source and purchase materials, supplies, and equipment from approved vendors
Develop vendor relationships
Track orders, manage inventory, and ensure timely deliveries
Maintain purchase records and vendor files
Support daily office operations (phones, data entry, scheduling, etc.)
Assist management with quotes, invoices, and general paperwork
Communicate with vendors, customers, and internal staff professionally
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years experience in purchasing, and office administration (industrial/manufacturing background preferred)
Good computer skills (Excel, Word, email); basic math.

The Equinox Personal Training Internship offers students a unique opportunity to learn and work alongside fitness industry experts in our cutting-edge facilities. * The overall product lifecycle from concept to launch, support and end of life
* Financial analysis of product cost structure including Gross margin, Net Present Value, Internal rate of Return and various other financials related to products
* Workflow processing/documentation including but not limited to Sales Order processing, Order entry, Circuit Design, Service Delivery, Billing and Support
* Ongoing migration activities, product reporting, and have input into the direction of approach for future products/roadmap
Qualifications:
* Eligible candidates should be entering their senior year of an undergraduate program or be recent graduates of an undergraduate or master's program.
* Candidate must be local to one of our office locations. (Bethpage NY, NYC, Golden CO, Wakefield MA, White Plains NY).
* Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, business, or related field of study required.
* Strong understanding of business fundamentals of a product and market (like share gains, profitability, addressable market). Clear understanding of cost structures and accounting principles.
* Prior internship experience a plus.
* Proficient in advanced Excel, Word, PowerPoint & MS Project. SFDC experience is a plus.

Primary Responsibilities:
