Performs standard and complex electroencephalographic recordings under minimum direction. This position is responsible for obtaining standard, cerebral silence, STAT and outpatient EEG recordings. The position is also responsible for monitoring additional physiological phenomena by means of appropriate techniques. Adapts procedure to clinical circumstances. This implies the ability to add electrodes in non-standard locations and to devise the appropriate recording techniques with minimal assistance. Abstracts relevant information from the patient's clinical record and obtains additional information by questioning. Observes and notes clinical phenomena occurring during the patient's test. Participates in conferences and technical meetings. Performs other related duties as required.
