Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED required. Associate's Degree preferred. Minimum two years of experience as an interpreter in a healthcare setting using in-person, telephone, and video-remote interpretation required.
Knowledge and Skills: Proficient in medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, as well as basic knowledge of cultural folk medicine required. Strong customer service background required. Bi-lingual and bi-cultural in English and Spanish required. Able to keyboard 40 wpm. Able to read, write legibly; speak in English with professional quality; use computer, printer, and software programs necessary to the position (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Operate/troubleshoot basic office equipment required for the position. Able to relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others; work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure; collaborate and accept direction. Able to communicate effectively in English in person, in writing, and on the telephone; think critically; manage multiple assignments effectively; organize and prioritize workload; work well under pressure; problem solve; recall information with accuracy; pay close attention to detail; work independently with minimal supervision. Job Summary:
Our Linguists are responsible for performing real-time transcriptions of sensitive material from Urban English to English; collecting, analyzing, identifying, and decoding of colloquialisms and slang terms; extracting pertinent information and communicating that information to law enforcement agent(s). The linguist will be responsible for transcribing source documents and recordings from storage media, including but not limited to audiocassettes, videocassettes, or digital media.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Listens to oral and written intercepts or pre-recorded communications in Urban English and provides verbal and written synopsis and transcriptions as it may be applicable per project.
Responsible for relating all pertinent information to the Client when supporting a live project.
Contributes to a master-list of slang words and codes (used by a particular group/organization) for the duration of the project/case.
Maintains a voice library for the duration of the project.
Transcribes and translates pertinent calls and documents as assigned by their supervisor.
Produce court ready transcriptions of pertinent calls, chats, and documents, following the required format.
Responsible for using the various reference tools created during the project.
Ability to transcribe a minimum of 16 minutes of recorded conversation in an 8-hour day.
Operates specialized software equipment provided by the government to include JSI voice box, Pen-link, Comverse, and other communication collection equipment used at their assigned site.
Maintain daily log of productivity.
Performs related duties as assigned, within the scope of practice.

Prior experience as a court interpreter is preferred.

Job Title: Part-Time BCBA
About Us:
We are a growing provider of behavior analytic services dedicated to improving the lives of individuals with autism. Our team values quality care, collaboration, and professional growth. We are currently seeking a qualified, bilingual (Spanish/English) BCBA to join our team on a part-time basis.
Position Overview:
As a part-time BCBA, you will manage a caseload of 10-15 clients, providing individualized behavior intervention services in various settings including at home, within the community, and in schools. You will have the flexibility to conduct sessions and BCBA supervision sessions in both in-person and via telehealth, working approximately 25-30+ hours per week. Client locations very within OC area (e.g., Anaheim, Orange, Garden Grove, La Habra, Brea, Fullerton, etc).
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans.
Conduct assessments (FBAs) and provide direct behavioral intervention for clients with autism.
Hold client sessions in diverse settings (home, community, and school) to ensure comprehensive care.
Provide clinical supervision and guidance to support staff and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs).
Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with experience with autism, ADHD, Down Syndrome, etc.
Proven clinical and supervision experience.
FBA experience
Report writing experience
Clinical treatment plan writing experience
Fluency in both Spanish and English is required.
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Valid California BCBA certification and relevant state licensure as applicable.
