Duties: • Remotely assist with installs, troubleshooting, and repairs of network, desktop, and voice equipment. • Monitor and troubleshoot data circuits; escalate issues to vendors as needed. • Track and resolve tickets in the Helpdesk system. • Document and manage IT equipment inventory. • Install and support IT devices, including PCs, servers, VoIP, mobility devices, and infrastructure. • Assist in IT projects, including research, configuration, and deployment. • Coordinate IT moves, adds, and changes across yards and offices. • Update project documentation in Copart's SharePoint. • Determine and design infrastructure wiring on floor plans. • Work with vendors to obtain quotes and manage IT purchases. • Verify IT equipment arrivals and conduct inventory checks. • Survey sites and report discrepancies. • Ensure telecommunications circuits and phone lines are operational. • Expedite Telecom issues and assist with IT installations. • Conduct connectivity tests for all IT equipment. • Resolve IT issues on opening day of new sites. • Other duties as assigned. Required Skills: • Basic knowledge of telecommunications, LAN cabling, and data circuits. • Self-motivated with good judgment under pressure. • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. • Experience with physical network and PC equipment installations. • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Visio. • Excellent communication and customer service skills. • Ability to lift 20 lbs. repeatedly. • Understanding of cabling infrastructure and standards.
