InterSystems' Solution Innovation team is a highly talented, fast-moving group within HealthShare Product Management that extends core product offerings to deliver production-ready solutions for new and existing markets. We move quickly to create solutions that can achieve measurable value very quickly for our customers, while designing for scale and long-term value.
As a Senior Solutions Engineer, you will play a hands-on, technically focused role in building and deploying solutions that help our customers realize value quickly and help InterSystems deliver use cases for new and existing markets. This will often include combining and expanding product capabilities in a new SaaS offering that can meet an urgent market need.
You'll work at the intersection of Product, Sales, Engineering, and Professional Services, acting as a highly skilled bridge between customer needs and product capabilities. The solutions you design and deliver will not only solve immediate customer challenges but also shape the future direction of our offerings.

What You'll Do
Build and Deploy Solutions
Understand solution use case, user personas and jobs-to-be-done, Translate those into functional and technical requirements to inform solution design.
Architect and engineer strategic solutions by combining and extending product offerings with new code, design accelerators and/or partners.
Deliver hands-on technical components, ensuring solutions are scalable, reliable, and production-ready.
Coordinate with our Managed Services team to deploy solutions in our cloud services environment.
Develop and/or integrate enhancements and accelerators as needed to round out the capabilities to provide a market-ready solution.
Accelerate Customer Value
Provide white-glove support for early market entries, helping customers adopt and realize value quickly.
Identify partner products to enhance solution to meet the end-to-end needs for specific use cases, integrating technologies or providing reference guides to seamless align them with the deployed offering
Mentor implementation teams, refine methodologies, and create/productize accelerators that drive adoption.
Closely shepherd pilots and initial customers, monitoring value, enhancing the solution and collecting valuable insight on product market fit.
Collaborate on optimized Customer Onboarding processes that focus on rapid value combined with long term strategic vision
Collaborate Across Teams
Work closely with Product Leadership to define and prioritize solutions, providing field-driven feedback.
Work with Sales to identify market needs and opportunities, early pilot customers and support pre-sales activities, including proposals and bid responses.
Collaborate with Professional Services to understand the gap between core product and solution requirements, co-build accelerators, and ensure seamless solution delivery.
Collaborate with Managed Services to understand deployment architectures, optimizing for performance, scalability, management, measurement and long-term customer success
Shape Go-to-Market Strategy
Create reference architectures and regionally aware capabilities.
Engage in solution commercialization, validating product market fit, and adjusting based on customer feedback and early adoption data.
Represent InterSystems at customer, partner, and industry events.
Drive Continuous Improvement
Integrate market research and customer insights into product positioning.
Provide input into product development, identifying gaps and facilitating the transition of features from solution prototypes into core product.
About You
You're a technologist at heart who loves solving hard problems, building solutions, and seeing them succeed in the real world.
You enjoy working closely with customers and colleagues across disciplines, and you're comfortable switching between hands-on engineering and strategic conversations.
You have deep technical experience (10+ years) in architecting, implementing, and deploying enterprise solutions.
You bring expertise in healthcare integration (especially with InterSystems HealthShare and interoperability standards like HL7, CDA, and FHIR).
You thrive on turning ideas into scalable, production-ready solutions, not just designs on paper.
You're a credible communicator and storyteller who can engage technical teams, business leaders, and executives alike.
You're energized by collaboration - working with Sales, Product, and Services to deliver customer value and influence product direction.
You're curious and growth-minded, looking to deepen your technical expertise across architecture, cloud deployment, and solution design rather than moving into management.
You're willing to travel occasionally (up to ~25%) to attend industry events, collaborate with colleagues and work directly with customers and partners.
Education
University degree in a technical discipline (or equivalent experience).
• Experience with InterSystems technology (especially HealthShare) highly desirable.

InterSystems is providing a current good faith estimate of the anticipated base salary range for this position depending on a variety of factors including experience, education, skills, and performance.
Other compensation may include a discretionary annual variable target incentive.
