    What You'll Do As a Forensic Interviewer you will work with the Multi-Disciplinary Team investigators to conduct forensic interviews on children ages 3-17 and vulnerable adults with allegations of sexual or physical abuse, felony neglect or witness to a violent crime. Your Responsibilities Will Include: Provide forensic interviews when there is an allegation of abuse to ensure safety of the child and assess for needed referrals. Receive intakes, schedule, and conduct forensic interviews. Work closely with the Multidisciplinary Team while evaluating children in order to ensure the safety of the child, while giving each member access to the information that is needed to fulfill their professional role and to ensure that their informational need needs are met. Meet with MDT members after the forensic interview to discuss the interview outcome and make the appropriate recommendations. Communicate and provide written reports of interviews to the proper investigative agencies within a timely manner. Provide fact and/or expert witness testimony in court when requested for prosecution and defense when necessary. Conducting and documenting follow-up services for clients served and representatives as it relates to the criminal case. Providing monthly forensic interview logs to CAC Director or Assistant Director for data reporting. Participate in Peer Review two times a calendar year per NCA Standards and attend trainings and conferences in child abuse maltreatment. Tracking of case statistics. You're a great fit for this role if you have: Bachelor degree in psychology, social work, criminal justice or related field or 2+ years of work experience in child abuse maltreatment. Child First Mississippi Forensic Interviewing Court Preparation Training Certificate. Advanced knowledge of child abuse dynamics and child development. This position is responsible for the review of all buildings and building system plans, ensuring that plans and material conform to existing code and ordinance requirements, including but not limited to fire prevention and life safety. This role involves technical and skilled inspection work to maintain compliance with local codes, ordinances, national codes and regulations governing the construction, alteration, installation and repair of buildings, building appurtenances, and building systems. This includes technical and skilled review of new plumbing, heating, air conditioning, electrical systems, fire suppression systems and allied equipment. This position will work independently on field inspections and must make decisions requiring independent judgement; however, technical advice and assistance are available from superiors on difficult or unusual cases. Interviewers are required to locate sampled addresses, screen household members, and interview sampled adults, youth, and parents in their homes for a longitudinal study.
