Responsibilities Lead the strategy and development of internal developer platforms that improve software engineer onboarding, service creation, and day-to-day productivity. Collaborate closely with CI/CD, Infrastructure, and Developer Tools teams to integrate platform capabilities into streamlined developer workflows. Drive the design and evolution of our internal developer portal, golden paths, service scaffolding tools, and documentation systems. Establish consistent feedback loops with engineering teams to identify points of friction and translate insights into actionable platform improvements. Define and track developer experience metrics to guide decision-making and demonstrate impact to engineering leadership. Manage, mentor, and grow a team of engineers focused on internal tooling and platform user experience. Qualifications To land this role you will need: You need to have a history of being self-motivated and capable of solving problems with minimal oversight. The ability to learn quickly and retain information is key to being successful in this role. You have strong experience working in a competitive, fast-paced, highly technical environment, ideally in the Financial Services Industry. 5+ years of experience in software or platform engineering, including at least 1 year in a team leadership or management role. Strong understanding of modern software development workflows, internal tools, and developer platforms. Demonstrated success building internal tooling or interfaces that improve engineering's velocity and team satisfaction. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with a collaborative mindset and a strong sense of developer empathy. Experience working in cross-functional settings, integrating tooling across CI/CD, infrastructure, and development environments. What makes you stand out: You love making people better. Travel Requirements, for leadership meetings and conferences Hiring Salary Range $150,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity and alignment with market data). Subject to business performance and recommendations of management, this role may be eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan.
