INTRACOM’s history and development since its establishment in 1977 is presented herein below:
In 1987, Intrasoft, a subsidiary specializing in the integration of large-scale IT projects, and Intracom Constructions, a subsidiary specializing in complex construction projects mainly in the energy sector, are established in Athens.
In 1992, Intrakat, a subsidiary construction company specializing in large-scale telecommunications infrastructure projects, is established in Athens.
In 1994, Intracom Constructions merges with Intrakat.
In 1999, Intracom is ranked 70th among the 200 fastest growing companies (out of 12,000) from 25 countries.
The first Greek company to be certified under the ISO 9001:2000 Quality standard.
In 2001, Intrakat is listed on the Athens Stock Exchange.
In 2002, Intrasoft merges with Intracom, and the new company becomes the largest ICT conglomerate in Southeast Europe.

Intrasoft International is recognized as National Champion Luxembourg during the European Business Awards 2014/15, ranked among top 16% during the Software Testing World Cup 2014 and honored with a Human Resource Excellence Award.
Οn 1st of March 2019 INTRACOM HOLDINGS set up INTRACOM TECHNOLOGIES S.à r.l., a company in Luxembourg in which it is the sole shareholder, and to which the shares of INTRACOM DEFENSE were contributed.
As from 8th April 2022 main shareholder (direct owner) of IDE is INTRACOM TECHNOLOGIES S.à r.l. by 90,91%.
