The Supply Chain Manager will serve as a main figure in the procurement, planning, inventory, warehousing and logistics functions. Responsibilities The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for the duties and responsibilities outlined below, as well as additional tasks as assigned: Manage procurement, planning, inventory, warehousing, and logistics functions to support production and delivery schedules. Ensure compliance with MIL-STD-1686 for ESD-sensitive components across supply chain activities, including storage, packaging, and handling. Oversee supplier selection, performance, and qualification, ensuring suppliers meet aerospace and defense standards. Monitor inventory levels and demand forecasts to avoid shortages or overstock situations. Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to ensure timely material availability and smooth workflow. Coordinate material handling and packaging procedures that comply with military specifications and internal ESD protocols. Support internal and external audits, including those related to DoD or aerospace compliance requirements. Track and report on supply chain KPIs including on-time delivery, supplier quality, lead times, and cost reduction initiatives. Maintain accurate records in ERP systems and ensure documentation supports traceability and regulatory compliance. OPERATING HOURS AND EXPECTATIONS: This position anticipates on-site work with regular hours, Monday-Friday. Occasional telework may be considered and will be discussed as a part of the interview process. WORK LOCATION AND TRAVEL: Primary work location will be the CIS Secure headquarters located in Ashburn, VA. Minimal local travel is anticipated for this position.
