We are looking for team members with analytical skill sets, manufacturing/supply chain experience, to participate and lead in the SIOP planning process. The SIOP planning function is an excellent way to broaden your experience, skills and network of colleagues, while leveraging knowledge on large data sets to compute demand and supply plans to meet customer demand and maintain inventory targets. We measure this through various metrics such as Forecast accuracy/inventory health/Sales Plan v Actual and Build Plan vs Actual, First Pass Fill Rates etc.
Key Responsibilities include:
* Lead/participate in cross-functional team meetings/ SIOP process to develop best in class demand plan and optimum supply plan
* Facilitate and drive collaboration with Marketing, Sales Operations, Finance team members to develop monthly/quarterly forecasts over mid-term and long-term.
* Partner with NPI/ Engineering/ Marketing teams to understand product lifecycle/ buffer strategy, develop robust plans to enable new product launch and product end of life (EOL) planning.
* Review and make improvements to statistical forecasting models, to drive best- in-class demand forecast accuracy
* Analyze data output, historical shipments/ consumption for any modifications required based on product segmentation.
* Understand/ manage safety stock/ inventory targets for various regions/ plants
* Partner with manufacturing, planning, regulatory and facilities teams to understand and drive buffer strategies to enable building moves and plan for regulatory restrictions.
* Awareness/Understanding of Capacity Models (lines/shifts, line efficiencies, head count and material lead times/constraints)
* Develop capacity and material constrained build plan through cross functional collaboration with various partners (Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain)
* Scenario planning for different Demand and Supply scenarios, understand & articulate the different options and impact
* Represent their product families and present relevant data/ charts in the cross-functional SIOP meetings
* Load plan to enable Manufacturing and Supply Chain execution
* Monitor performance to plan, eg. forecast versus actuals, and drive corrective actions/ mitigation plans
* Support other planning activities such as Long Range Planning, Excess & Obsolete reduction etc
* Drive improvements to Key Performance Indicators such as Forecast accuracy, First Pass Fill Rate, Backorder, Finished Goods Inventory Attainment through root-cause analysis and cross-functional collaboration
* Subject matter experience in order to participate and lead projects to improve operational efficiency/ profitability goals
* Troubleshoot and help resolve MPS/MRP issues for demand propagation; Participate in key projects, testing and go-live.
* Travel:
* 10 - 25% Domestic/ International;
* Ability to travel to Sunnyvale for training and during SIOP meetings on quarterly basis.

Qualifications

The MVIS will support and educate accounts using MAC-approved materials related to Electronic Health Records (EHR) supporting multiple therapeutic areas of interest to Amgen. They will advise the director and senior manage with the development of the strategy, messaging, tools, & resources to harness the organized potential of IDN's and/or health systems within the EHR space. The main focus of this role is to educate these customers about health information technology (HIT) systems, including electronic health records (EHR), to enhance diagnosis, treatment, and patient management with tools that enable, for example, clinical workflows, patient stratification, and patient activation and outcomes at the point of care.

* Work with cross-functional medical and commercial account teams to gather EHR customer insights and assess opportunities
* Manage the customer accounts prioritization process for the MV Health IT Liaisons

Essential Job Duties
* Perform failure analysis, repair, testing, and/or packaging per applicable work instructions and experience
* Updates RMA information in SAP such as complaint root cause, complaint codes, pm findings, and repairs needed
* Maintains work order information such as the BOM, operations completed, tools used for repair, material used for repair, and test results
* Analyzes wiring diagrams, schematics, assembly drawings, and fab drawings to conduct repairs and testing of FRUs
* Provide detailed symptom descriptions for Failures uncovered during repair, functional test, and calibration to assist in component level troubleshooting
* Conducts quality inspections of own or other's work to ensure workmanship standards are met
* Complete all required documentation per GDP guidelines
* Reports quality issues and provides details necessary to create quality notifications (VR, PL, NCs) records transaction in SAP as needed to preserve traceability

The Product Release (PR) Specialist is responsible for reviewing device history records (DHRs) for accuracy and completeness, certifying compliance to product specification and traceability requirements, and ensuring that any deviations from the manufacturing process were properly recorded and authorized by members of the appropriate departments.
The Product Release (PR) Specialist receives guidance on workload prioritization from the team lead or supervisor but is ultimately responsible for organizing and executing their projects and daily standard workload in a manner which meets the schedules of the operational teams whom they support.

* Product Release
* Reviews DHRs for da Vinci systems, instruments, and accessories for compliance to product specifications and company traceability requirements, creating certification documents and authorizing release of product for distribution to customers and New Product Introduction (NPI) launches.
* Reviews and approves records from sterilization sub-contractors to assure sterility of single use products.
* Ensures that any non-conformances or deviations are properly approved and documented in the DHR.
* Works collaboratively with internal customers to resolve DHR issues in a timely manner.
* Reports on workload status regularly within the team and identifies issues which pose a potential risk to team goals.
* Performs inventory transactions and ensures that released products are transacted in a timely manner to maintain inventory accuracy for department inventory locations.
