The Inventory Control Coordinator will be part of the Product Delivery team, reporting to the Regional Plant Manager. The Inventory Control Coordinator will be responsible for several routine functions at the manufacturing plant including cycle counts, purchased materials ordering, and production planning.

Responsibilities:


Works with the Transportation Manager, Regional Plant Manager, and Shipping Supervisor to provide timely and effective production schedule planning and communication. Organizes and schedules daily/weekly workflow for the operation. Looks ahead to newly completed shipping schedule workload. Working closely with the Regional Plant Manager and Plant Administrator, establishes and maintains correct and adequate inventory levels of all inventories stocks and supplies for the facility. This is accomplished by direct purchase order placement and coordination with established MBI vendors, and by material orders from other MBI plant locations. Communicates clearly and frequently with internal plant departments on topics relative to planned production and receiving schedules. Takes care of internally produced item inventory ordering, cycle counts and inventory corrections, and recommends minimum supply changes. Learns Production Manager job duties in order to be in a backup/training role. Exhibits customer service focus with an emphasis on quality and timeliness. Performs analysis and adheres to MBI's established inventory value and turns standards. Willingness to work regular overtime and off-hours as needed. Additional responsibilities as assigned.


Qualifications


College coursework completed or equivalent work experience as an inventory planner and/or materials purchaser preferably in the construction industry. Minimum 3 years of experience required maintain inventories and manufacturing processes such as scheduling through ERP/MRP system input and manipulation is a plus. Post frame construction industry experience highly desired. Proven process improvement efforts and results achieved. Promotes teamwork and demonstrates natural leadership skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational planning skills. Ability to work on your feet as required. Microsoft Office skills including Outlook email, Word, and Excel are required. Displays accountability, dedication and enthusiasm to manage plant inventories as if it is your own small company.

POSITION PURPOSE:Responsible for tracking inventory and maintaining accurate inventory records and able to research any discrepancies. Display a strong understanding of the equipment he/she uses, the location of product, and the lay-out of the warehouse, slot location, lost sales, mispicks, pack size and all other applicable product information.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES:• Monitors product velocity and tracks lost sales and in-house damages.• Researches inventory adjustments and maintain high service levels (low out of stock).• Initiates date checks, periodic cycle counts ( 3 months in grocery and repack and every 3-4 weeks in cooler/freezer) as well as quality checks.• Researches mis-slots and quality issues, verifies pick slots and back stock verification.• Processes return to vendor requests• Basic slotting• Alerts management of potential safety problems or violations.• Tracks expiration dates (particularly cooler/freezer items).• Tracks food bank and salvaged product.• Perform duties in accordance with Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) and Safe Quality Food (SQF) policies and procedures, as appropriate for location

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: High School Diploma/GED Certification and/or equivalent related experience.REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE: Understanding of Safety guidelines Strong knowledge of applicable Bakco functions and RF systems. Understanding of applicable Bakco functions. Understanding of all paperwork and reporting methods related to tracking inventory. Have an understanding of procedures in other areas of the warehouse for a more global understanding of all processes.EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Capability of being licensed in operating powered industrial equipment SKILLS/ABILITIES: Strong communications skills; both written and oral applications. Strong interpersonal skills; must be motivated and take initiative. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others. Ability to be detail oriented and manage multiple tasks.

Job Summary:

U.S. Electrical Services Inc. is searching for a 1st Shift Warehouse Associate to join our Inventory Control team in our Stoughton, MA Distribution Center. This position will report to the Inventory Control Supervisor and be responsible for the following:

· Receive certifications to operate Reach truck, forklift, cherry picker and electric pallet jack

· Replenish product in main building using RF gun location moves

· Pull overstock pallets for pickers when orders require a full pallet quantity

· Pull forward all pallets in double deep locations to ensure safety

· Remove all shrink wrap from pallets when being placed in main building locations

· Keep warehouse clean and organized daily

· Help in other departments when needed

· Organize stock and maintain Inventory

Required Skills:

· Previous experience with warehouse equipment and tools

· Previous experience with RF Scanners will be considered an advantage

· High School Diploma or equivalent

· Forklift Operation Certification will be considered an advantage (specifically order pickers, reach trucks, fork trucks and electrical pallet jacks)

· Hands on experience with inventory and logistics software programs

· Team player

· Good organizational and time-management skills
