Job Description Pick and pack orders of signs & sign supplies in preparation for shipping to customers. Load and unload delivery trucks by hand as well as a forklift. Ship and receive orders, utilizing RF scanners & Warehouse Management System (WMS). Maintain clear and accurate records on all inventory. Accurately measure and cut custom size product pieces for customers using panel saw and/or roll slitter. Examine workplace conditions daily to ensure they conform to applicable OSHA standards and Grimco's Warehouse Safety Checklist. Assist couriers and delivery drivers' load vehicle, verify load for accuracy, and work to maximize delivery efficiency. Maintain equipment, trucks, and warehouse (e.g., cleaning/sweeping warehouse, maintenance, special projects). Qualifications 1+ years of warehouse experience Knowledge of WMS, printing ticket orders, MS Office Suite, email, internet navigation. Ability to compete and pass a criminal background screening. Physical Demands Requires the ability to lift, push, pull and carry tools and warehouse materials weighing 70+ pounds on a frequent basis. Requires prolonged standing or walking, frequent bending, stooping, and reaching daily. Requires the ability to climb ladders to pick or put away products. SUMMARY Perform inventory control and material movement duties below per department guidelines. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Pick parts for manufacturing orders from electronically communicated job information. Stage materials for manufacturing orders in the assigned build area. Record inventory movements and update stocking locations as necessary. Assist with inspection and receiving of materials into enterprise resource planning (ERP) system. Ensure incoming material inspections are recorded in ERP system. Perform manufacturing work order related material movements as needed. Loading and unloading of equipment requiring overhead crane. Clean and maintain work area. Other duties as assigned by the Manager of Projects and Planning. ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES Coordinate incoming and outgoing package and LTL shipments as necessary. Package ground shipments and freight shipments daily. This may include boxing, skidding and/or crating items. Physical and electronic receipt of incoming materials. Confirm incoming material shipments match purchase orders. Assist with managing physical inventory levels of items on blanket orders. Assist with performing periodic and annual inventory counts. Assist with any other inventory control duties as necessary. Assist with picking and staging parts for manufacturing orders. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS 2+ years' experience in an inventory control position or equivalent. Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. Ability to use or learn to use forklift properly. Knowledge of material movement within a manufacturing environment is a plus. Ability to use computer software including Microsoft Office, shipping software and ERP systems to record inventory locations and movements. Must be organized and able to perform in a fast paced environment. Knowledge of, or willingness to learn, safe work practices in a manufacturing environment. The Inventory Specialist will be responsible for the inventory of all vehicles at the facility within company timelines. Through the use of company provided tools, the Inventory Specialist will document vehicle condition within company standards which includes a complete inventory and supporting photographs of each vehicle. In addition, by using a system of priorities, the Inventory Specialist will be responsible for directing the flow of traffic in the receiving area to ensure timely processing of vehicle inventory. Finally, through a thorough understanding of Copart policy, the Inventory Specialist will be responsible for facilitating the Copart experience by offering solutions to meet customer's needs. Monitor, maintain and organize the receiving area. Operate camera and utilize a handheld inventory device to process incoming vehicles. Determine operational capability of motor vehicles Complete vehicle inspection inventories (TLEs) on required vehicles. Maintain inventory of all materials used. Compliance to company policies and procedures Compliance to safety requirements. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Skills and Experience: Must be 18 years or older Ability to work outdoors in all seasons General automotive knowledge/mechanical aptitude preferred Basic computer proficiency, with the ability to operate handheld devices preferred Strong attention to detail Ability to work in a team environment Driver's license preferred Bilingual skill a plus.
