As an Inventory Analyst, you will support our Data Center Operations team by tracking, managing, and maintaining all company-owned and client-owned tools, equipment, and materials across the site. You will develop and maintain tool control processes, ensure calibration compliance, conduct routine audits, and coordinate purchasing activities with Procurement. Maintain accurate inventory of company-owned tools, PPE, ladders, carts, test equipment, and operational materials.
Track and account for all client-owned test devices and equipment (e.g., EXFO units, OTDR testers).
Develop, manage, and improve the tool check-in/check-out program for technicians.
Track technician tool assignments and reconcile discrepancies promptly.
Monitor and document calibration schedules; ensure equipment is sent out and returned on schedule.
Conduct regular inventory audits (weekly, monthly, quarterly) and generate audit reports.
Identify missing, damaged, or end-of-life tools and recommend corrective actions or replacements.
Work with Procurement/Inventory teams to submit purchase requests, process orders, and reconcile incoming inventory.
Maintain digital inventory systems and ensure all movements, updates, and disposal actions are accurately recorded.
Support reporting needs, including inventory dashboards, utilization metrics, and audit summaries.
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
2-4 years of experience in inventory management, supply chain, warehouse logistics, or a related field.
Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
Experience using inventory management software or asset tracking tools.
Ability to understand basic technical tools and equipment used in data center, telecom, or field operations.
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with technicians, leads, and leadership.

Job Purpose

About the Role:
Crusoe is seeking an Inventory Controls Specialist to manage the full lifecycle of hardware assets-from receiving and auditing to deployment and decommissioning-across our AI-optimized data centers. This role ensures accurate inventory tracking, enables efficient server builds, and supports day-to-day operations with a high degree of precision and process adherence.
What You'll Be Working On:
Track and maintain inventory of hardware assets (servers, GPUs, networking gear) using asset management tools and best practices
Receive and audit incoming shipments; verify equipment and report discrepancies or damage
Manage the lifecycle of all hardware from staging and testing through deployment and decommissioning
Monitor and replenish critical spare parts inventory to support timely repairs and build readiness
Coordinate inter-site shipments and vendor returns, ensuring correct labeling, documentation, and tracking
Manage Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) process, including ticketing and vendor communication
Collaborate with deployment technicians and data center staff to support active operations
Document inventory-related standard operating procedures (SOPs) and contribute to process improvements
Lift and move equipment up to 50 lbs in a data center environment
Must be able to pass a background check.
What You'll Bring to the Team:
3+ years of experience in inventory control, logistics, or asset management, ideally in a data center environment

This position is responsible for the coordination, maintenance, and distribution of medical supplies, linen, and (equipment where applicable) maintaining all inventory and supply items in various high volume, high-cost hospital settings such as cardiac and arrhythmia labs, interventional vascular labs, surgery and distribution stockrooms and warehouses. **Responsibilities And Duties:**
/RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for the availability of routine and/or specialty procedure supplies for assigned department and supply warehouse through a detailed process of inventory control. Performs all inventory transactions (Example: Quick Issues, Put-away Plans, etc.) in a timely manner to ensure accurate product availability and quantities. Runs daily reports to verify all orders are appropriately placed and submitted. Responsible for reviewing and verifying presence of any recalled items using the appropriate database. Responsible for removing any recalled product and escalating as appropriate through chain of command. Appropriately receive all packages delivered to receiving area in a timely manner and based on department policy. Daily operating task including breakdown/staging of inventory warehouse product occurs according to the designated schedules. Validates correct product was received via pack slips, ensuring STAT orders are completed in accordance with the requester timeline and the communicated response. Replenish designated location/units based on the delivery schedule and places order with required technology and predetermined inventory methodology.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or GED
