We are PAM Distributing a Tulsa Based Wholesale Security & Surveilloance Distributor celebrating our 40th year in business and are located near 61st and Garnett. We have an immediate opening for a mature dependable Inventory Manager. Individual should have minimum three years’ experience in similar work. a solid work history and references.
Our Staff is comprised of the original founder and 7 other employees. We are also in the process of filling two new openings. The founder has 40+ years’ experience in the industry, the most senior staff member has 25 years with the company. As such, we enjoy a small business / family atmosphere.
Requirements
· Minimum high school graduate & preferably some college or other formal training.
· Three years' hands on experience in Security, CCTV, Networking or closely Related Industry
· A positive, friendly, outgoing personality with good people skills & ability to build relationships
· Understandiing the art of sales and the concept of self improvement and motivation.
· Neat professional appearance in a casual environment.
· Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word and other computer programs.
· Must be organized, dependable, and good at multitasking along with the ability to prioritize projects.

Duties
· Maintaining relationships with existing customers and assisting with repeat sales.
· Developing relationships with non active customers.
· Contact prospects via cold call, email and in person.
· Gaining a clear understanding of customers' businesses and requirements.
· Listening to customer requirements and presenting appropriately to make a sale.
· Communicate clearly to prospects what you and our company can do for them.
· Responding to incoming email and phone enquiries.

Our normal business hours are 8 AM to 5 PM Monday thru Friday therefore hours for this position wills revolve around those hours. We are not open weekends. The position will require interaction with team mates, customers and vendors. Our dress code is casual, the atmosphere is laid back and we offer Health Insurance, Vacation, 401K, Holidays and a few other benefits. The Inventory & Logistics Supervisor has overall responsibility of leading the inventory control and logistics functional groups, including the supervision of the hourly staff. The position requires direct involvement in the daily operations of the inventory control and logistics areas. The Inventory and Logistics supervisor will oversee the distribution of inventory throughout the plant as necessary, ensure that accurate inventory records are maintained and provide guidance and direction regarding the shipment and receiving of goods.
You Will Have the Opportunity To:
Direct supervisor for employees in the Inventory Control and Shipping and Receiving departments. Responsibilities include interviewing, recommend hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; disciplining employees; addressing complaints; and resolving problems.Oversee daily cycle counting and annual physical inventory activities. Ensure accurate inventory records are maintained. Provide results of inventory related metrics as requested. Ensure employees have the proper work instructions. Create and maintain departmental work instructions. Provide training on work instructions as necessary.Order and maintain departmental supplies as needed. Prepare departmental budgets and explain differences should they arise.Accurately report on every aspect the department and the department processes. This includes management meetings, monthly performance reports, CAR's and the overall performance of the department.
REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.5 years minimum in one or more of the following: inventory control, logistics, hazardous materials compliance, international transportation, training others and continuous improvement.Supervisory experience is required, a minimum 3 years is preferred.Detail-oriented and possess the ability to follow through on issues.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Willingness to participate in continued education opportunities to enhance skills and proficiency.Good understanding of ERP systems, SAP preferred.
