EE has been serving Southwest Florida for over 40 years. Executive Electronics is currently opening 2 new offices, one in Naples and one in Tampa.

There is current opportunity for a dynamic individual to join our team as an A/V Purchasing & Inventory Manager . Experience in all areas of audio/video services is preferred.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities, but not limited to:

  1. Prepares and issues POs (purchase orders) on complex or specialized parts to support construction schedules and other requirements. Liaison with Engineering and Design groups on product specifications.
  2. Prepares and issues RFQs (Request for Quote) and inputs information received into the job management system for the purpose of using price quantity breaks and determining secondary sourcing.
  3. Places orders, select the most appropriate sources of supply and gives full weight to competitive quotations, delivery schedules, and vendor quality.
  4. Seeks out and qualifies new vendors to support the supply chain and mitigate single source supply risks.
  5. Contacts vendors regarding adjustments, incorrect material, or delivery problems. Coordinates corrective actions.
  6. Maintains working knowledge of product lines and applications.
  7. Develops and maintains effective vendor relations.
  8. Metrics: Understands, assess and evaluates all daily, weekly and monthly standard metrics (KPIs) reported by the department head (Global Purchasing Director).
  9. Establish and maintain A/V inventory levels across all warehouses via daily/weekly counts with the support of the Warehouse Manager.
  10. Review all A/V jobs daily for 14-21 day outlook and work with the Warehouse Manager to stage parts for technicians.
  11. Perform periodic inventory counts of warehouse and trucks.
  12. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or other related discipline is preferred.
  • Minimum five (5) years of closely related purchasing experience.
  • Proficient in inventory/purchasing systems and computer-based programs such as Excel, Word, Project, etc.

Skills And Abilities:

  • Ability to communicate effectively with vendors and other internal departments.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to access and manipulate system data for reporting and tracking purposes.
  • Ability to effectively negotiate terms of sale to meet schedule and pricing objectives.

**GENERAL PURPOSE:**

This role is responsible for leading all inventory and financial planning and management for the Store Operations Fixture Purchasing team across all Ross and dd's stores\. This includes the development of fixture inventory forecasts across all Store Operations fixture projects and rollouts, ongoing communication of on hand inventory levels and recommendations for mitigating shortages and obsolescence, and recommendations for saving costs and optimizing the fixture and fixture vendor portfolio\. Responsible for fixture budget planning, monthly forecasts and reconciliation, and analysis of the impact of any fixture cost and prototype updates\. Directly responsible for leading and developing a Finance and Inventory Analyst\.

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:**

• Inventory Planning and Management: Forecasts fixture inventory needs across all store operations business, including New Stores, Remodels, Special Projects, Field discretionary accounts \(RVP discretionary and Small Fixture requests\), and fixture rollouts \(i\.e\., Store Refresh program\)\. Owns development, calendaring, and execution of domestic and import inventory commitments that meet all project execution timelines\. Maintains and routinely communicates on\-hand inventory levels and makes recommendations to avoid shortages and mitigate liability from slow moving and/or obsolete inventory \(i\.e\., SMOI\)\. Identifies opportunities to save costs and simplify the overall fixture portfolio by rationalizing sku's across Ross and dd's and analyzing usage against cost\. Serves as primary point of contact for analyzing the impact of prototype/fixture changes on existing inventory and budgets\.

• Financial Planning and Management: Owns budgeting and forecasting for fixtures across all store operations business, including New Stores, Remodels, Special Projects, Field discretionary accounts \(RVP discretionary and Small Fixture requests\), and fixture rollouts \(i\.e\., Store Refresh program\)\. This includes development, calendaring, and execution of 5\-year and yearly fixture budgets, monthly forecasting and reconciliation, monthly and year\-end close, expenditure log maintenance, and open commitments and purchase obligations\. Owns all financial analysis of fixture costs, usage, and fixture prototype changes\. Routinely communicates risks and opportunities in the fixture budget/forecast across all business\.

• Direct Import Program and Vendor Portfolio: Serves as primary point of contact for

all inventory and financial planning and analysis on the Direct Import program\. This includes tracking savings against long term savings targets and building inventory and financial plans that drive year\-over\-year savings\. Develops processes and tools to support the Purchasing team with effectively executing against all fixture inventory and financial plans in a multi\-vendor environment\. Identifies risk/opportunities in the current vendor portfolio and develops recommendations\.

• Leadership: Directly responsible for the leadership and overall development of a Finance & Inventory Analyst\. Ensures ongoing training and accountability on all inventory and financial processes across their respective team and other teams on the Store Planning, Process, and Execution team \(SPP&E\)\. Proactively engages and works with the SPP&E leadership team, Stores Finance team, Store Planning and Design team, Strategic Sourcing team, Fixture vendors, Field leaders, and others as required on all fixture inventory and financial processes and projects\. Builds and maintains critical tools and systems that streamline processes used by the Fixture Purchasing Team, Business Intelligence, Finance Department, New and Existing Store Execution Teams for all major capital initiatives \(e\.g\. \- New Stores, Refresh/Remodels\)

• Process Management: Owns development and documentation of all fixture inventory and financial processes\. Routinely assesses execution of fixture inventory and financial processes, designs feedback loops to identify process gaps and opportunities, develops and implements recommendations in partnership with supervisor\.

• Store Operations Leadership: Completes other special projects as required to support SPP&E and Store Operations goals and objectives\.
