SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE:
Under direct supervision, the incumbent is a key member of the warehouse team and is primarily responsible for the proper receiving, documentation and put away of inbound freight. The incumbent is also responsible for a variety of warehouse tasks and activities. This fast- paced environment requires attention to detail and the ability to remain on their feet for the duration of the shift with minimal sitting. Spending extended periods of time staging or packing materials in the 2-8c refrigerator is expected to maintain integrity of the product. Including but not limited to picking orders, preparing, and packaging outbound orders in a manner that ensures all compliant and appropriate documentation is captured per Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and customer specifications. In addition, all warehouse employees must be comfortable using mobile ladders.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform all inbound functions as per company and customer guidelines, specification, SOP, and compliance regulations.
Perform all relevant inventory control functions consisting of data entry, cycle counts, moves, transfers, returns as well as put away and accurate documentation.
Perform all outbound functions as per company and customer guidelines, specification, and SOP. This includes picking, labelling, packing, consolidating and accurate documentation and capturing of all required information as per company, customer, and industry regulation.
Adhering to and promoting a safe working environment and culture.
Maintaining and promoting a clean and organized workstation and warehouse environment.
Carries out duties in compliance with all federal and state regulations and guidelines.
Complies with all company and site policies and procedures including but not limited to safety, standard operating procedures, and work instructions.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or GED.
One to
Three years of industry experience performing a warehouse technician role in a cGMP environment preferred.
COMPETENCIES/SKILLS:
Read, write, review, and interpret documents such as standard operating procedures, manuals, work instructions, specifications, BOM, BOL, pick tickets and packing slips.
Legible Handwriting.
Communicate clearly in writing and orally.

Maintain accurate and timely inventory records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS), ensuring all inventory movements, adjustments, and transactions are properly documented.
Generate and analyze inventory reports and KPIs to identify trends, risks, shortages, or overstock conditions, and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
Collaborate closely with Fulfillment, Purchasing, and Operations teams to forecast inventory needs based on demand trends, order volume, and business activity.
Identify inefficiencies in inventory and warehouse processes and actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance accuracy, workflow, space utilization, and labor efficiency.
Ensure all inventory management activities comply with company policies, quality standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
Work overtime or weekends as needed to support inventory and fulfillment requirements.
Operate warehouse equipment, including order pickers, in a safe and compliant manner.
Perform other duties as assigned to support warehouse and inventory operations.

Requirements:
2+ years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or supply chain management.
Strong attention to detail with a proven ability to maintain high levels of accuracy.
Ability to analyze inventory data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
Working knowledge of standard warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, and shipping.
Proficiency in inventory management systems (e.g., Datex WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand or walk for extended periods, perform repetitive motions, and safely climb ladders to access and place inventory on upper storage levels.
Ability to work in a warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures, noise levels, and warehouse equipment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with inventory optimization concepts such as safety stock, reorder points, FIFO/LIFO, and inventory turns.
Previous experience operating an order picker or similar material handling equipment.
Exposure to continuous improvement or Lean warehouse practices.

The Inventory Specialist will be responsible for the inventory of all vehicles at the facility within company timelines. Through the use of company provided tools, the Inventory Specialist will document vehicle condition within company standards which includes a complete inventory and supporting photographs of each vehicle. In addition, by using a system of priorities, the Inventory Specialist will be responsible for directing the flow of traffic in the receiving area to ensure timely processing of vehicle inventory. Finally, through a thorough understanding of Copart policy, the Inventory Specialist will be responsible for facilitating the Copart experience by offering solutions to meet customer's needs. Monitor, maintain and organize the receiving area Operate camera and utilize a handheld inventory device to process incoming vehicles Determine operational capability of motor vehicles Complete vehicle inspection inventories (TLEs) on required vehicles Maintain inventory of all materials used Compliance to company policies and procedures Compliance to safety requirements
Required Skills and Experience:
* Must be 18 years or older
* Ability to work outdoors in all seasons
