Job Description:
Job Purpose: The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for all goods receipt as well as shipments prepared by the Marken San Francisco Branch in ambient, refrigerated, frozen or cryogenic temperatures are carried out proficiently, ensuring that relevant documentation are prepared in strict compliance with existing SOP's and that temperature results are retrieved and uploaded in Maestro in a timely manner. Will work in conjunction with all Marken operated branches and their agents. Responsible for ensuring targeted company goals relating to specific KPI's such as OTP and recording milestones in Maestro. Works closely with Customer Service and Implementation Managers to always ensure GDP and Regulatory.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensures shipments are prepared in accordance with Special Instructions and expedited on time and within required specifications
Ensures appropriate packaging provision, (Credo
&
Bio boxes and Dry Vapor shippers) are completed in a timely manner, being supported by the Operations Supervisor
Collaborates with management and department personnel throughout Marken to ensure that capabilities are available to meet client and service demands
Delivery of exceptional service to both external and internal clients
Performs tasks in full compliance with regulatory and trade laws and processes
Supervises third parties (local agents, airlines, suppliers, etc.) to ensure compliance and expectations
Contributes towards corporate initiatives and incorporating network best practices
Develops and implements strategic plans in cooperation with the LATAM and Global Marken leadership teams

Duties and responsibilities
Verifies the accuracy of inventory by cycle counting parts and finished goods on a daily basis (Open cartons, bundles, and other containers to count items to determine quantity on hand)
Research discrepancies to determine the root cause of the variance prior to reconciling
Ensure materials are in proper locations. Conduct searches in order to locate misplaced inventory.
Analyze SKU velocity and consolidate locations.

Use RF equipment to complete cycle counts

* Responsible for reviewing and coordinating the proper use of reports and system applications, which have an impact on the accuracy of front end and pharmacy on-hand balances and pricing.
* Responsible for executing and maintaining front end and pharmacy asset protection techniques, and filing claims for warehouse and vendor overages (merchandise received, but not billed), shortages (merchandise billed, but not received), order errors or damaged goods including prescription drugs.
* In designated stores, as required, opens and closes the store in the absence of store management, including all required systems start-ups, required cash handling and cashier responsibilities, and ensuring the floor and stock room are ready for the business day.
Customer Experience
* Engages customers by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services. In designated stores, when serving as the leader on duty, resolves customer issues and answers questions to ensure a positive customer experience.

* Completes On-Shelf Availability (OSA) end-to-end process including warehouse and direct store delivery (DSD) for planogrammed departments, executing disposals, call-ins, and vendor returns before expiration, completes scan outs/ scan outs returns on all subscribed departments including vendor/ DSD departments and pharmacy scan outs.
* Under the supervision of the pharmacist-in-charge,completes pharmacy inventory activities including but not limited to pharmacy recalls following Pharmacy Hazardous Waste Policy, vendor returns, non-controlled, and damaged salvage returns. Facilitates excess inventory returns or interstore pharmacy transfers where applicable for non-returnable ABC overstock. Verifies posting of all pharmacy/ prescription claims.
* Completes execution of all pricing activities including price changes, markdowns, and markdowns deletes. Responsible for basic department pricing, including daily price changes, accurate pricing with correct signage, and reliable and timely completion of any additional regulatory pricing tasks.
* Responsible for supporting front end and pharmacy ordering by ordering expense items. Monitors pharmacy manual orders to identify excess orders. Maintains consigned inventory and orders as required.
* Ensures all designated pull & quarantine item on-hands are updated and placed in the designated holding area.

Position Summary:
Join our exciting & dedicated team at Vallen as a Vendor-Managed Inventory (VMI) Coordinator I. In this position, you will deliver and manage inventory at customers' designated sites. You will perform the physical or administrative tasks involved in storing, distributing and order fulfillment of merchandise, products, materials, parts, supplies and equipment.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
* Drive company commercial vehicles to transport and deliver goods to designated locations in a safe manner and in compliance with all State and Federal DOT standards and regulations.
* Works to ensure the accuracy of shipments to the customer.
* Assist with the VMI customer space/placement, sets up the appropriate area to receive shipment of material and stocks product in the customer's designated area.
* Follows the customer order through from pick-up at Vallen's warehouse/DC to delivery and set up at customer site.
* Takes customer spot buy orders when needed and relays the information to the CSR or Account Rep.
* Scans barcodes at customer site to generate customer orders.
* Perform VMI functions at vending point of use areas: loading, receiving and minor repairs or changes, including mandatory communication with direct supervisor and the sales team.
* Maintains awareness of min/max, reorder point/quantity and reports observations back to managements.
* Recommends changes to the customer inventory levels based on usage.
* Ensures that bar code labels are up to date and legible for scanners to read and advised management when new barcode labels are needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Foster a service and selling culture; exceed overall expectations to build long-standing customer relationships.
* Process all incoming/outbound inventory with accuracy.
* Verify all merchandise deliveries are compliant and accurate to Company standards.
* Ensure all merchandise is prepared for the selling floor and complies with all company ticketing and signage guidelines.
* Place EAS tags on merchandise before moving it to the sales floor in accordance with Loss Prevention guidelines.
* Ensure the timely and accurate input for all freight information through the appropriate systems.
* Execute all RTVs, orders, transfers, re-tickets or mark downs efficiently and timely to Company policies and procedures.
* Educate and coach sales team on all processes and procedures that affect the customer experience throughout inventory control.
* Ensure a high level of productivity through attainment of units per hour (UPH) targets.
* Maintain a neat and orderly stock room that is compliant with all Company/State guidelines.
* Adhere to all local, federal and state laws in addition to Company policies, procedures, and practices.
* Performs any other duties that may be assigned by management.
* Demonstrate high degree of professionalism in communication, attitude and teamwork with customers, team members, corporate partners and vendors. Additionally, demonstrate high level of quality work, attendance and appearance.

Receive products and other goods. Use ERP system, JD Edwards, as required for receiving direct finished goods.
Pick orders using our ERP system, JD Edwards, utilizing a Microsoft tablet
Verify quantity of products received by reading shipping information and box quantities.
Identify and stock products accurately and timely into warehouse bin locations utilizing scanning equipment.
Re-package products as needed by counting items and ensuring the accurate quantity is in each box.
Maintain and process order using tool assembly, bagging machine, rework, and quality sorting.
Prepare and ship product per customer requirements and shipping orders (including bar codes), or secondary process requirements.
Maintain equipment checklists and minimal equipment upkeep. Including scales, forklifts, etc.
Complete required daily and monthly maintenance checklist. Report issues to manager(s).
Maintain clean warehouse area- following policies and procedures for housekeeping and safety.
Verify returned material authorization (RMA) quantities, part numbers, customer names etc. and close RMA in Syspro.
Become and maintain Penn Engineering approved Forklift certification within 3 months of employment.

Dock associates are responsible for witnessing the process and sampling the amount of beverage containers being unloaded from tractor trailers, to ensure accuracy. The position is labor intensive and aided by the use of pallet jacks and forklifts.
