Job Description:
Position is primarily responsible for routine warehouse operations including inventory management, unpacking shipments, moving materials using pallet jacks and forklifts (training and certification provided), and maintaining accurate inventory records primarily using Excel and warehouse databases.
Position will also be responsible for ensuring a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment by following SOPs and safety regulations, and completing documentation and reports in Excel and Word.
Position will be in charge of supporting warehouse logistics strictly - no complaint handling at this time - with potential for cross-training on complaint investigations only if needed in the future.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Receiving – Receive all product that has delivered to our warehouses.
Accuracy – Maintains 99% accuracy on all inventory data. Ensure accuracy of lot numbers, pack dates and shelf life for all inbound product.
E-mails – Addresses all e-mail requests ensuring all deadlines are met.
Reservations- Reserve available product on open orders in real time using inventory on hand and as product is received to ensure timely shipment of customer orders.
Follow-Up – Daily follow up of unresolved tasks is required to maintain 100% fill rate on all customers’ orders. Notify/advise Account Management of any shortages, overages, short shelf life or product issues upon delivery.
Transfer orders – Create and receive Transfer Orders for product moving between warehouses.
Metrics – Provides information for department metrics. Monthly reporting and maintenance of label and box inventories.
USDA/USDA inspection – Submit requests for inspections and certs as needed with USDA and USDC while coordinating with the warehouses.
Inventory Management- Work with inventory supervisor on weekly and monthly reconciliations of warehouse inventory reporting. Research & resolve all inventory discrepancies and issues.
Claims-Process ROP’s to packers/vendors and claims with warehouses in 24-48 hrs.
QA Testing – Coordinate samples for QA testing, food shows, customer requests or Sales.
Cross Training- Backup Logistics Coordinators on domestic shipments.

The focus of this position is to service the client with their parts and inventory needs including: locate stock and deliver stock items to their destination outside of storeroom upon request or per Kanban, receive stock, issue materials to client, and use systems to track inventory as well as to locate and verify inventory for the client. This position is a regular, frequent point of contact with the client and requires a strong, effective customer service capability.

SCHEDULE: Mon - Fri | 8am - 5pm (some overtime may be required peridically)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Follow all site Safety and Security Procedures; perform all assignments and tasks in a safe manner and report any unsafe or potentially unsafe working conditions to management immediately • Provide professional level of customer service to all internal and external customers and report customer matters and/or concerns to supervisor promptly
* Ensure compliance with established internal control procedures and SOPs
