Execute the daily activities associated with the successful flow of materials for the Machine Shop through maintaining accurate and organized inventory.
Maintain Accurate Inventory
Perform cycle count at specified intervals.
Responsible for appearance and layout of inventory storage areas.
Utilize Kanban and Poka-Yoke quality tools to reduce errors and mistakes with inventory.
Tag and inventory all materials.
Kit components for assembly work orders.
Locating requested parts in material storage areas, confirming part number is correct with requester, and issuing proper parts to work orders.
Receiving
Oversee and process the physical and system receipt of goods against purchase orders.
Inspect material or product upon receipt per purchase order requirements and company policies.
Organize, tag and deliver materials to the appropriate location.
Verify shipments against manifest, invoices, or purchase orders and examine for accuracy upon arrival.
Shipping
Process and schedule shipments (Internal and External).
Oversee the preparation of product (packing, preservation/safety of product) for shipment to customers or outside service providers.
Pack, seal, label or affix postage to prepare materials for shipping, using hand tools, power tools, postage meter or USP/FedEx software.
Purchasing
Order non-work order materials (ie. Shop supplies, cutting tools, machine parts/needs, office suppliers, etc) based on requisitions, inventory cycle counts and re-order points
Communicating potential delivery issues to your Supervisor.
Monitoring cost - pay attention for variation in price (increases), and report to Supervisor any concerns or ideas for potential cost savings.
Requisition and store shipping materials; supplies to maintain inventory of stock.

Functions
Return RGAs to stock and/or scrap RGAs that have been assessed as damaged.
Check daily emails and respond to customer service representatives to get RGAs rekeyed and updated.
Routinely process Liberty cycles.
Provide excellent customer service to clinical and home patient customers via email and phone.
Collaborate with transportation and drivers to coordinate RGA pickups.
Schedule a weekly pickup for scrap disposal.
Maintain and update the RGA list daily by closing out any processed returns.
Assist in internal and external inventory audits.
Utilize software including Salesforce, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Teams, and SAP.
Operate stand-up reach truck to move products throughout the warehouse.
Maintain perpetual inventory of materials and products and generate applicable inventory reports.
Perform daily cycle count activities and inventory audits; track and monitor all damaged product in inventory and provide necessary reports to leadership.
May coordinate product recalls, holds/releases, and product infestation audits.
May monitor pest control programs if required at the site
Ensure the facility is inspection-ready at all times (e.g., SQFI, FDA, or other customer requirements).
Facilitate quality/regulated training and coordinate the site's quality management program.
Maintain the site's quality management portal and may draft/revise site SOPs as needed.
Qualifications
High School or GED required; associate degree or two years of equivalent experience preferred.
Minimum 2 years' experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
Familiar with Salesforce and/or SAP preferred.
Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office (i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
