THE ROLE
As the Inventory Associate, you will:
Efficiently and accurately process incoming and outgoing shipments to and from our distribution centres, from store to store, and to our clients
Strategically place product in the back room, ensuring product is evenly distributed to achieve optimal balance and stocked at the ideal quantities
Uphold the standards of product display, ensuring the right product is in the right place per the right stock level
Enable seamlessly integrated cross-channel shopping experiences by supporting with omni-channel service management
Support in the seamless operations of all aspects of the retail space, including window installations, fitting room operations, supplies and equipment management, and technology support

What is an HUB Inventory Specialist?
Hub Inventory Specialist is responsible for Hub order fulfillment and Inventory control. The individual in this role should have good knowledge of store systems, basic parts knowledge and good interpersonal skills. The role has in-depth knowledge of the store inventory and requires the ability to network with nearby stores, Hubs, pdq and external suppliers for order fulfillment. This position is full time. Position can be MVR certified and should complete all training materials and attend all store meetings.
Primary Responsibilities
Responsible for Hub operations and resolution of Hub orders in a timely manner
Review Hub orders, pulling parts, stage product, finalize paperwork
Interaction with Drivers on paperwork, instructions, etc.
Engaging store to facility network to determine part sourcing and logistics solutions; work with ordering store for fulfillment options if unavailable in network
Work with GM, DL and SSC support for proper inventory mix and levels
Inventory accuracy and functions- Cycle Counts, Outages, Planograms, Maxi changes, Price Changes, Front & Face, Truck lead
Manage and comply with all Hub records and all paperwork policies and procedures

Compensation Range

Plan and place purchase orders for production components ensuring that parts are received in the quantity required, when needed. Proactively and reactively manage and expedite component part shortages by identifying issues and internal problems.
Control number of days of inventory on hand by reducing lot sizes, increasing replenishment and shipping frequency, etc. Maintain and control usage and replenishment of supply items.

Documentation & Inventory
Accurately label crates and complete required documentation or shipping tags.
Track packing materials usage and report low inventory levels.
Work with production and logistics to meet shipping schedules and deadlines.
Safety & Workplace Organization
Follow all safety procedures when using tools, equipment, and handling materials.
Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area.
Participate in safety training and report hazards or near-miss incidents.
Qualification requirements
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
Experience in crating, carpentry, woodworking, or construction (1-2 years preferred).
Ability to read tape measures, drawings, blueprints, or diagrams.
Skilled in using hand and power tools.
Forklift certification will be required.
Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physically demanding work.
Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
Epicor ERP systems knowledge highly desirable
