Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate inventory records for raw materials, components, and finished goods
Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies
Monitor inventory movements including receipts, transfers, adjustments, and shipments
Ensure inventory transactions are accurately recorded in Microsoft Dynamics
Investigate variances and work closely with production, purchasing, and warehouse teams to resolve issues
Support production planning by ensuring material availability and accurate stock levels
Oversee inventory locations, labeling, and bin accuracy within the warehouse
Assist with physical inventories and audits as required
Identify process improvements to enhance inventory accuracy and system efficiency
Ensure compliance with company procedures and manufacturing best practices
Required Qualifications
3+ years of inventory control experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment
Hands-on experience managing raw goods and finished goods
Strong working knowledge of inventory systems / ERP platforms (Microsoft Dynamics strongly preferred)
Solid understanding of inventory transactions, cycle counts, and reconciliation
Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced manufacturing setting
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work rotating shifts, including flexibility as operational needs change
Proficient with Microsoft Excel and inventory reporting
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with high-volume or multi-shift manufacturing operations

Job Description

Job Description
The Inventory Specialist is responsible for the stateroom inventory management of the Atlas Ocean Voyage fleet to ensure revenue and occupancy goals are met or exceeded. This includes managing virtual stateroom inventory, crew and operation guest staterooms, oversold voyages and paid stateroom upgrades. The Inventory Specialist will be cross-trained on other Revenue Management duties and serve as back-up to those duties. The individual in this role will collaborate with internal teams such as Reservations, IT, Operations and Guest Services.
- Learn and gain advanced proficiency of the Atlas reservations system.
- Own stateroom inventory management including the management of virtual staterooms, oversold voyages, special stateroom requests, expedition team needs, etc.
- Analyze booking demand trends to manage stateroom guarantees.
- Identify and process paid upgrade opportunities.
- Ensure the maximization of high occupancy occupancy staterooms.
- Support other Revenue Management responsibilities as needed.
The Inventory Specialist position impacts the revenue of Atlas Ocean Voyages by ensuring occupancy goals are met or exceeded through the management of stateroom inventory.
The Inventory Specialist position directly supports the Revenue Management team by managing ad hoc stateroom requests, opening and closing of inventory, and assisting with other duties that may take precedence over stateroom management.
The Inventory Specialist position will work closely with the Reservations team in a timely manner to ensure stateroom availability at the time of the booking.
Qualifications
Must be a local candidate for in-office hours in Fort Lauderdale, FL
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
Ability to learn and utilize the reservation system.
Sound decision-making, assessment, interpersonal, critical thinking, and resourcefulness skills.
Ability to multitask and handle changing priorities with high level of quality.
Ability and willingness to collaborate with cross-functional teams across the organization.
A self-starter who is able and willing to take action with minimal guidance.
Minimum 2-year college degree or 3 years experience equivalent.
