ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Perform cycle counts, part audits, and support full physical inventory events. Reconcile discrepancies between physical and system inventory; complete adjustments when needed. Maintain accurate reporting of receipts, transfers, scrap, and barcode activity. Assist with QAD accuracy related to inventory, part setup, and material movement. Identify available storage locations and reorganize products to maximize space utilization. Support slotting efforts by placing items in optimal locations based on size, velocity, and customer demand. Assist DC leadership in layout changes, rack reorganization, and flow improvements. Monitor congested areas and help redistribute inventory to improve throughput. Assist Shipping and Receiving with product identification, location accuracy, and inventory availability. Investigate issues related to mis-picks, mis-ships, shortages, and overages. Track incoming and outgoing inventory to ensure accuracy across all systems. Help maintain clean, organized, well-labeled storage areas. Identify opportunities to improve flow, reduce congestion, and increase space usage efficiency. Provide training to DC employees on scanning, barcode usage, and proper material handling. REQUIREMENTS High School Diploma or GED required Associate degree or coursework in Supply Chain or Logistics preferred 2-3 years of experience in warehouse, inventory control, or distribution center operations required Experience with space planning, organizing inventory, or slotting preferred QAD/Eagle or similar ERP experience preferred Strong knowledge of inventory control and DC material flow Good problem-solving and organization skills Proficiency with Excel and Microsoft Office Ability to “find space,” organize product, and improve overall warehouse flow
