The Inventory Control Associate shall be responsible for all aspects of inventory control, checking inventory accuracy, the reduced inventory levels and reduced risk exposure and maintain overall compliance with Ferraro Foods' policies and procedures. Perform other duties as required by management.

Job Responsibilities
Perform daily physical inventory counts and audits and provide detailed documentation of results.
Perform quality checks around date sensitive, slow-moving and obsolete items via various system reports.
Research transaction and exceptions to device root cause and provide resolution.
Conduct inventory adjustments to ensure inventory accuracy.
Research discrepancies, driver shorts, out of stocks and report trends and errors to leadership team.
Request, prepare, compile and retain reports and records in printed and electronic form.
Perform initial research causes of weight variances, receiving/put away/letdown issues, and damaged product in the slots from warehouse moves.
Evaluate, verify and process Driver returned products.
Reconcile routes, invoices and other documents.

Adhere to Company standards for Safety, product handling and Food Safety.
Work in multiple environments, including office as ambient, refrigerated and frozen storage areas.
Knowledge of computer systems and ability to learn warehouse management system (Power Warehouse)

Job Requirements
Must possess minimum two years job experience, Inventory Control or other Clerical in a Distribution Center setting.
Ability to resolve routine problems of typical scope; Analyze complex scenarios; Prioritize job tasks of varying frequency; Perform with limited Supervision.
Basic experience in MS Word and Excel and working knowledge of inventory control systems and processes.
Extensive experience with Excel and spreadsheet management a must.
Able to communicate effectively, written and verbal; Possess strong math skills, excellent organizational practices with a high attention to detail.
HACCP/SQF experience preferred
